This is a Mom & Pop store that sells predominantly Filipino products. It is small, about the size of a typical convenience store, and is quite clean. They are located at the corner of NE185th Street and Baseline Street in the strip mall where the Goodwill Store is located. Signage from the parking lot is not visible thus one could easily miss the store. They are located in the eastern corner of the strip mall next to a Taekwondo school and a tattoo place. It looks like they’ve replaced a previous Asian store since the lighted signage from the parking lot shows«B & K Asian store» but when you walk to the location you’ll see their non-descript sign«U-need Asian Store.» They sell a variety of packaged food products from the Philippines — from canned goods, bottled sauces, frozen cured meat/fish products and frozen fruits/vegetables. They also have a variety of baked products from hopia to pan de sal, package baked goods and cookies, and they serve Boba Tea and to our big surprise — really good halo-halo! If anything, it’s worth making the trip for their halo-halo. I was very impressed by the cleanliness because many Asian stores are not known for this. They opened in April 2015 thus are relatively new. Let’s hope they can keep the cleanliness as this would be a plus. I would highly recommend them for Asian and Philippine products. Pinoys in Beaverton-Hillsboro area need to visit and support this store. I’m sure they will not be disappointed.
