A great space with great food and coffee. New favorite coffee shop in Brooklyn, possibly in NYC. I ordered: –Almond milk latte: really smooth. They use Counter Culture beans! –Avocado smash toast(no egg): really beautiful, came out on the cutest plate with a rabbit on it. The taste was amazing and unique, with different seasoning to make it spicy and nuts to add a crunch. Maybe the best avocado toast I’ve had so far(and I’ve had a lot). –Banana bread with maple glaze: the glaze was a nice flavor, but made the bread too sweet. The bread itself had a creamy texture and the banana taste was strong. I also tried part of my friend’s mini bundt cake and it tasted really great, not too sweet, even with the strawberry glaze. Presentation was also nice, with pink rose petals sprinkled on top. I trudged there a day after the blizzard hit. To be honest, if I had known how great it was a day earlier, I would’ve easily walked(or ran) through the blizzard to go there as well.

Great service. Food isn’t cheap but comparable to coffee shops in Manhattan($ 10 for a salad, $ 3 for a latte). Great atmosphere, lots of space for working & laptops. Love the space and they have a co working space too!

A very adorable coffee shop with great coffee and decent wifi. They also have a few vegan options so I tried the monk bowl. It was tasty but kinda pricey for being mostly rice with a few veggies(squash, radishes, green beans, and a frisée garnish). Overall, really nice place to work.

Given this place 4 or 5 tries, but it’s definitely not worth how expensive it is. Bedford Hill/Civil Service/even Cinnamon Girl has better coffee

I like having this as a quick option for breakfast and coffee if I’m on the go. It’s conveniently located on the corner of Bedford and Clifton and has pleasantly surprised me! It offers a variety of gluten free baked goods – I have personally enjoyed a couple of varieties of muffins and the root veggie fritatta(overpriced, but yummy). I also enjoy that this place offers almond milk with no extra charge for your coffee. Solid option for a quick bite + coffee!

Eat here, you won’t be disappointed! The avo-egg smash was one of the most unique and delicious sandwiches I’ve ever had! Top that off with amazing pastries and coffee! I couldn’t believe it when the server told me the lemon cake I had was vegan. Holy smokes I’m happy this place moved in to the neighborhood!

Came here with a friend and we decided to try this place out. When I first walked in, I fell in love with this café. They sell pastries and it right next to the counter table which makes it really convenient. I really like their service. The woman was really patient, kind, & helpful. I decided to get the Monk bowl which had(brown rice, bok choy, eggplant, and Daikon radish.) My friend got the Toastie(chocolate toast with peach on top). I really liked the Monk bowl because the brown rice is really healthy and it filled me up really fast and the Daikon radish is sour so it compliments it as well. I however don’t really like the bok choy because it was too salty. I also added in a poached egg and that was($ 2) extra. I give this bowl 4⁄5 stars because they didn’t have to make the bok choy salty.

Everything you want it to be, and more. After trying about five things on the menu, I couldn’t decide on a favorite because each was more delicious(and beautiful) than the last. Creative twists on classic recipes, with ingredients unparalleled in texture and flavor. The food, décor, and artwork is locally sourced. There are adult coloring books and cacti. It’s the quintessential, contemporary Brooklyn vibe without any of the pretense.

I think the service is pretty disappointing. Working as a barista back in the days, I know what to expect. Even getting a regular cup of coffee seems to be somehow complicated and takes time. Very slow. The food was decent but the $ 4 muffins size of a ping pong ball, really? And cmon what’s up with the pintrest design?

Despite the fact that Stonefruit looks like it came straight out of a spread of some Silver Lake magazine and is totally out of place in this neighborhood, I really dig it. The space is airy, well lit, charmingly decorated(including with a cat pillow — my favorite), and well air conditioned(crucial during the tropical NY summers), the coffee is on point and the food options are interesting(constantly rotating) and delicious.

Stonefruit is a beautiful space with a killer location – a block away from the G train entrance on Bedford. The décor is bright and airy, and the food focuses on healthy options. My first time visiting I order an iced coffee and the avocado smash. It was filling and the avocado was very fresh. The coffee is great too – not too strong that you get jumpy, but gives you a boost. There is plenty of seating, from areas in the front windows, a row of two-seaters facing the counter, and communal table in the back. However, this place is busy in the mornings and people like to linger. Second time I stopped by was for an afternoon coffee and the space was half full. Counter service is prompt and friendly. They keep almond milk behind the counter and take cards with no limit. I see myself coming by on Sunday mornings as well as more grab and go on the way to work.

I agree with LG below: I first came to place a couple of months ago and had a couple of pretty good meals, and nice service… but today I was extremely disappointed. We ordered two drinks, a yogurt, and a what we thought would be a wholesome toasted sandwich. I was shocked that the 4 items came to over $ 20! The toasted sandwich was not a sandwich but just a couple of pieces of bread with a spoonful of jam and nutella on the side… and it wasn’t even toasted… for the $ 5 it cost I could have gone to stratch across the street and bought an entire loaf of bread. For the 2 food items that were already prepared it took over 20 mins for it come out… when I politley checked on it… the employee made a face. Smh. I feel like this place is trying to pick up the people that don’t want to wait on line at scratch, and over charge to probably pay for their high priced rent. With that said, it’s bad business, and I’m actually hoping they improve…

Gorgeous, bright and spacious farm-to-table café! Natural light spilling in through the windows and lots of plants and succulents. There’s a spread of baked goods on the counter. They have vegan and gluten free options as well! Not only is everything super photogenic, the quality of the food and coffee did not disappoint. My sister and I arrived at 9AM. We ordered a flat white, iced matcha latte, avocado toast from the June menu(it’s written on a notebook, how cute), and a frittata muffin from the display. The barista was friendly and was able to make our drinks in a timely manner despite the rush of people who came in right after we ordered. We sat down for a minute and before we even fully settled, the food was already prepared. Gotta love fast service! The avocado toast was beautifully presented and I added a poached egg(+$ 2). Almost too pretty to eat haha. The avocado toast is also relatively cheaper than most cafes if I remember correctly. The frittata muffin was okay, I only took a bite from it but there was a huge grain of salt. Not sure how that happen but my sister ate the rest and said it was fine. The café was not crowded at all since we went during the morning but more people started to fill the café when we were leaving. I would definitely come back and try other items on the menu!

I stopped in here to have a coffee, but they had matcha on the menu(yay !!!) so I went for that instead ! I also couldn’t resist trying one of their cookies — GF and vegan, like most(but not all !) of the treats in this place. It was delicious, very moist ! I also saw other people getting their avo toast with a perfectly poached egg and it looked amazing. So colorful and fresh. Will certainly be going back to try food off the menu. Very cute interior and nice staff ! This place will be packed soon! Update :feel like the food is going down hill? Had the avocado toast the other day and it was full of mayo and not very fresh at all !

Stonefruit is now my hands-down favorite place to study, eat, and meet fun and interesting new people! The wifi is fast, the service is fast, and you will fall in love with the place fast. The coffee is great and well-priced. Wide selection of both dairy and non-dairy milks(no one will judge you for asking for hazelnut milk. I didn’t even know that was a thing). Lots of vegan(chocolate truffles, snickerdoodles, smashed avocado toast!) and gluten-free(cookies, raspberry/fig tarts!) goodies that are scrumptious. I also didn’t even feel weird about licking hazelnut cacao spread and sourdough crumbs off my plate. Everyone in there understood me and respected me for it. The space is idyllic and bright and makes you feel things you didn’t know you could feel. I didn’t know there was an emotion for«I want to devote myself to local, healthy, delicious food forever and eat Stonefruit’s Monkbowl seasonal special everyday». «This is inspiration for when I open my own coffee shop» — Leighton, the nicest girl ever who is sitting across from me eating a salad that I’m very jealous of Definitely a Kickstarter success story!

It’s a Pinterest board come to life pretty and comforting, they have good coffee and gorgeous looking lunch items Service is fast and there’s always friendly people working at the bar The music could use more careful selection however, there was one afternoon where they were playing DMB/John Mayer like we were not in bed-stuy, Brooklyn in 2015 Or maybe this is what bed-stuy Brooklyn 2015 is supposed to be? anyway, nice addition to the neighborhood.

I’m in love! This place just opened today and it’s already my favorite neighborhood café!!! It focuses on healthy, farm to table food, which is a refreshing option for this area. It’s located across the street from the G Bedford stop, so it’s super convenient to stop by in the morning before work. Food: The avocado smash was really good! It was probably the best one I’ve ever had. They weren’t skimpy with the avocado and it was topped with alfalfa and a perfectly cooked boiled egg. The smash covered a large, multi-grain toast, which gave each bite some nice texture. The frittata muffin was a really fun way to do a frittata. It had some mini carrots in it, which was yummy. The frittata was light and perfect for a savory snack on the go. The blueberry tumeric muffin sounds weird but was actually pretty good, if you like tumeric. It’s really moist and had fresh blueberries. It’s also gluten free! Drinks: The matcha green tea latte with almond milk had legit matcha green tea and not that fakey green tea sugar powder stuff at other places. I liked that it wasn’t too sweet. We also got a cappuccino and drip coffee — I didn’t try them, but heard they were good. I also appreciate that Stonefruit was stocked with stevia packets, which cafes around here usually don’t have as a healthier sugar option. Décor: Cute, warm and welcoming! Love that the place has huge windows that let a ton of light in. Everything we had was really delicious and felt super healthy without feeling like they were sacrificing taste. Can’t wait to come back here and try all the other menu items, which included sandwiches and some other fun, healthy goodies!
