Understand they let go one of the best waitresses I have ever had — Gina. Not sure what is going on there now. Food good but I am not so sure about the wait staff.

Really like this place but tried to go Sunday and was so disappointed to see that they are remodeling and won’t reopen until spring 2016 :(

Most of the food comes from a central kitchen and reheated on site. Really gone down hill in the last several years. Not worth the wait nor travel distance from Concord, MA. Sad, for at one time it was the best Italian restaurant west of the North End. Looking for a good authentic Italian restaurant in Concord/Acton area?

We chose this restaurant as our first family meal together after picking up my husband at the airport upon his return from a one year deployment in the Middle East. We arrived at the restaurant after the dinner rush so it wasn’t close to being full, however the waitress sat us in the back corner of the restaurant and we barely saw her. Drinks were rarely refilled and the biggest disappointment was the food. My daughter’s Alfredo sauce was curdled and temperature of 4 out of the remaining 6 meals were room temp at best. A very disappointing visit to say the least.

If Unilocal allowed zero stars, I would give ZERO stars . Came here for Father’s Day, and let’s just say this restaurant cannot handle volume at all. In fact they should probably just stay open for lunch of that, when it is much slower; because fast high pace volume is not for them. We got one thing of bread for 7 people, and had to ask for more. It was taking an extra 30 minutes for food due to the place being«much busier than normal». My grandfather who btw is 86, got the wrong order and instead of the waitress just apologizing and getting him what he wanted proceeded to argue with my Aunt and say that was what he ordered. Umm what happened to the customer is always right?! Raviolis were straight from the freezer & rubbery, yuck. Meatballs, pretty sure I could’ve played baseball with them, that’s how hard they were. Was not happy, nor impressed. Will not be back. Café Luigi get it together & learn how to handle volume; after all you are a restaurant !

Luigi’s is a great little place to get Italian food. I love the chicken marsala and wild mushroom tortellini. I usually do take out and the service is always on point and the staff is very friendly. I recommend this for anyone in the Bedford area. The lunch deals are actually really really good also.

Good environment and great service but my food had a long piece of hair in it and it was my first time here. Food was good but I wish there was no hair in it.

Great food at a great price. Call ahead seating can be a problem. Twice we were told that there wasn’t a wait only to show up 20 mins later to a half hour wait!

Overall, it’s average. The food is ok, service is nothing special, but at least this venue is consistent. I’ve eaten here several times, and the best dish I’ve sampled is the chicken marsala with mushroom tortellini. Not a place I’d take visitors to.

Local Italian place that serves decent portions. The service can be a bit slow and the menus is generic. Not bad for a quick lunch stop, but nothing special.

Big disappointment. The restaurant décor and ambiance are nice, but the food is very substandard. We ordered an alfredo pasta, and the alfredo was curdled. I have never been given curdled alfredo at any restaurant before. Disgusting and unacceptable. I also ordered spaghetti in a red sauce. The sauce was good, but there was way too little sauce. How am I going to eat a bowel of dry spaghetti? I will never go back here. I don’t know how this place has 4 stars on Unilocal. It just goes to show you can’t trust the reviews you see online.

My colleague’s and I work in Burlington and wanted something great for lunch. There were 7 of us in the group and since most of the people in our group(everyone but me to be exact!) had been to Luigi’s before, they knew it would be busy. We called ahead and they accepted our reservation with no problems. When we arrived we were told the wait would be 15 – 20 minutes. When you make a reservation you don’t expect to wait that long, especially not for lunch. However we were about 10 minutes from our office, so we were committed and decided to stay. The 15 minutes turned into 30 minutes after which we spoke to them and told them if they couldn’t seat all of us together we would take 2 tables. We were seated at 2 tables after a total wait of 35 minutes. It’s great that the place is busy, but they should not have accepted our reservation if they couldn’t seat us. Once we were finally seated the service was less than stellar(probably due to how busy they were) and the food was OK. I had the Antipasti salad and the cold cuts on there were definitely not freshly cut. The dressing was ok. If we had not had such a sour start to our experience I might have different feelings about the food, it is kind of hard to say, but as it was, I did not really enjoy it at all. Be sure to go there off hours or when you have plenty of time, not during work lunch.

Went here for the first time tonight with a friend who has been raving about this place for years. Excellent experience and food! It is a Wednesday night and place was packed. Told us the wait would be 20 minutes but we were seated in 10. Started with a house salad which is 2.99 with entrée purchase and had the yummy creamy Italian dressing. They give you a bread basket fresh Italian bread with butter. I got the shrimp delvicchio which was a huge portion of shrimp with artichokes, olives, capers, mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes in a white wine sauce served over your choice of pasta. I chose the mushroom tortellini. Had a sweet tooth after. Wanted the ricotta pie but they were sold out. Decided on a piece if lemonchello cake which was light and refreshing with a freshly brewed cup if coffee. Can’t wait to have my left overs for lunch! Highly reccomended!

I’m kind of tossed in the air about this place. I’ve had some good experiences here and some that are completely piss poor. The food is good but nothing honestly to right home about. The great Italian Chef Boyardee has food that is pretty similar in taste. The last time I was in there our server spilled my entrée on my lap. I can understand mistakes here and there but the place wasn’t that busy and the dining room was pretty clear of people. But I must admit that they didn’t even offer to comp my meal or replace it for me. What was left on my plate was put on the table for me to eat. Got to love the fact of being treated like a dog. Needless to say I usually tip on the rather high side but I left her the worst tip in my entire life. It’s probably going to be awhile if ever before I go back. Maybe I should just start cooking at home.

Standard Italian-American dishes. Nothing fancy, but the food is good. If you plan on eating in, the place gets crowded just about every night of the week after 5:00PM. Expect a lot of families with small children. Last two times I ate there I was seated next to the same family… the one with a four year old hyper-active son who thinks he’s an airplane. I was about one twirling«aaaeeeeerrrrrrr» away from losing it. It can’t be much to ask or expect your child to sit down at a restaurant and teach them some manners and ettiquette. Not everyone is amused at your boy genius who can spread his arms out at his sides and run full speed up and down the busy aisle past other diners. On each occasion I was treated to him going into a tailspin right in front of my table and coming in for a crash landing. I was tempted to grab the fire extinguisher and… well, thankfully it never came to that. Overall it’s a good place to eat. Food is inexpensive and cooked to order. Staff is friendly and you won’t leave hungry.
