Had lunch here recently. I had a burger and my wife had a salad. Food was good but due to outrageous prices for a decent glass of wine, our bill was over $ 100! Charging $ 14 to $ 16 for a decent glass of wine seems a bit much.

The atmosphere and service was excellent. I ordered the grilled Ceasar salad with a side of scampied grilled shrimp. Delicious! Sit at the bar and get complimentary monkey bread and a small cup of soup!

Nice, new, great service. Probably the best lunch we’ve had since moving to Southern NH a few months ago. Unlike so many restaurants around here that are either chains or are in decline/past their prime in the late 90s, the Copper Door has a very upbeat vibe & imaginative menu offerings. Service was good, the building was lovely. Perhaps a bit more expensive than other places nearby but worth it!

I want to give this place 4 or 5 stars and hopefully, I can at a later date. We went here for the first time on Sunday. We were seated in what I would call a huge great room in comfortable chairs. The décor and design are gorgeous! The waitress was attentive and we ordered Bloody Marys. No problem. The drinks were great. We both ordered burgers of different varieties. One medium-rare and one medium. They both came out well-done. Really well-done. We were so hungry that we didn’t complain. My girlfriend’s had no onions which she had asked for and we had to ask for more water, onions and ketchup. The burger did taste good, but it gives me pause if I want to order a $ 44 filet. If I got a well-done filet, I would not be happy! We’ll go back and hope I can give the Copper Door five stars. The staff for the most part is good, but should show up more to make sure that everything is ok. Don’t make me ask for more water. ketchup, onions, bread or whatever. You’re charging top price, so I expect top service.

Terrible! Never even got to sit down. Half the tables were empty as they were«reserved» and they left people standing around to wait. The hostess kept walking around with Reservation signs, looking for more & more as we stood there waiting and waiting(it was quite comical) I can understand making a reservation, but common sense would be to leave a few tables open for walk in customers. A party of 2 should not have to wait for a table that long! As we walked out I said we are not going to wait, politely the girl said I’m sorry, my husband said to the hostess with 5 reservation signs in her hand, Keep taking reservations, she looked stunned! Duh lady! Stick us in a corner will do just fine. Will never go back! Came to Tek Nique sat right down very nice ‚)

Great food, service, and ambience located right off of route 101÷93÷3. We just moved to Amherst and the staff was very welcoming. We’ll definitely be regulars at the Cooper Door!

I’d say food here is wonderful. Worth of a five star if just for the food. I went there twice within a week. Sat in different sections different times. First time the waitress wasn’t that great. She was okay at first but later on pretty much ignored us and never even asked if we wanted dessert. So we asked for it and after dessert was served, she never came back to give us water and only showed up once with the bill. That’s why I gave four stars instead of five. Another weird thing is that the restaurant was pretty empty during the week and the first time it took at least 8 mins for the front greeting staff to sit us down. Not sure what’s so hard about it, just thought it’s odd but this didn’t make me like this place less. The second time another waitress was pretty good. And the food came very fast like within 10 mins after taking our orders. Gotta give a thumbs up for it. I’d give a 4.5 if there was an option.

Been here twice, really a great place I definitely would go again. The food is yummy but the service is kind of slow. We had to wait like 10 mins even there were empty in the lounge. The waitress seems forgot us after she got us food, no adding water… but again food is amazing.

This place is outstanding. My wife and I had been given a gift certificate by a friend so we tried this place last night. We’ll absolutely be returning. Our server was great, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was very good. We both ordered steaks and they were perfect. My wife has celiac and can’t eat gluten so finding good places for her to eat can be challenging. This place perfectly accommodated her dietary needs as well as allowing me to customize my order. If you are looking for a nice dinner that doesn’t break the bank, this is the place. My wife suggests you try the Whoopie-Tini

The food is superb! Fine dining at it’s best, but still w/a relaxed atmosphere. My fav are the Meatball app’s …could eat a dozen orders. My only criticism is the local Radio Ad they have on AM radio… the creepy guy reading it sounds a boy-hungry, mincing, pedophile… not sure how they expect to attract customers there. But otherwise — Kudos!!!

We enjoyed our meals. The atmosphere is great and the food had a very nice presentation. I had the ribeye. Cooked perfectly and the potatoes and green beans were excellent. My wife had the lemon thyme chicken. Very tasty and the bread stuffing was excellent. We liked the way the ice tea is fresh brewed at our table. Will come back again. 2nd visit — came back for the lunch menu. I had the chilled beef tenderloin greek salad. Very fresh and the beef was excellent. My wife the CBLT. She said one of the best chicken sandwiches she has ever had. The French fries were excellent too.

The best meal we have had. Pam is the best waitress, so nice, funny, kind, and welcomed us with a warm greeting. Nicole was the best hostess and manager. Pam had a complete grasp of the entire menu and gave excellent recommendations since this was our first time here. Complimented the entire evening with a delicious dessert. We love it here and the food is excellent, the tuna tartar to the delicious calamari to the flatbread. Copper door came highly recommended and I give this restaurant a 10 out of 10. Best service, great ambiance, live music, and gorgeous décor. and the food is excellent.

Everything was P E R F E C T!!! Our waitress Nikki was exactly what I was looking for with my group of 10 engineers, sassy, fun, and on POINT! I think I was able to convince her, she needs to move to the South. =P All of the Texans gave their seal of approval on the ribeye, a hard feat! Your restaurant was stunning, your food was delicious and the service was perfect. Not to mention the fact that Sandy, the private dining coordinator, was so helpful. I felt very confident that everything was going to be exactly as I imagined. Two Texas Thumbs WAYUP!

Okay here’s the deal. I’ve been here about ten times and it’s great 50% of the time. The fire place is cozy and sitting at the bar is always a good idea, because the bartenders are kind and skilled. That being said, we’ve had lackluster meals a few times. On top of that we also had a really odd experience with a waitress once… During one visit, a group of us sat in the back room and a few of us ordered a bottle of wine. When the waitress(idk her name but she’s in her 50s with dark hair) came back to the table she looked at my partner and said«you’ll be tasting it» and immediately started dumping the wine into his glass(about three sips worth) This is when he said«oh no, I won’t be drinking it so I shouldn’t be tasting it» in a very polite fashion. He then moved the glass to me(I was going to be drinking from the bottle) I kid you not she then went on to say : «oh honey, I don’t think you know how this works. I’m just asking you to TASTE it… that’s what you do when you order a bottle» As a world traveler nearing his 30s, I assure you he knew how«it worked». All I can say is she went from normal to defense-mode in seconds flat! Also the word«Honey» should never be used by a waitress unless she’s reciting the ingredients in a Greek dessert. This left a bad taste in our mouths for the rest of the meal(with a tab over 200, a bad taste is an especially crummy feeling!) Anyway, we’ve been back a few times since then for the drinks. If you’re looking to be wowed food wise go somewhere else, but in general it’s tasty! I would add another star if it weren’t for that one especially uncomfortable experience and a few lukewarm entrees.

I came here for my birthday last night. The restaurant is beautiful. I was a little disappointed we were sat in the small side room away from the big, beautiful main dining room. I guess I shouldn’t have wrote in my reservation notes that I had a 3 year old. The infamous bread was good, but not as amazing as I expected based on other comments. I had beef tenderloin, which was excellent. I was happy that I had no trouble substituting the side that came with it(spinach) for a potato. My fellow diners were also very happy with their meals. I had white chocolate crème brûlée for dessert– again, very good. The meal was expensive, but I would love to come back for the beef tenderloin-probably the best I’ve had. I’ll just specify my seating preference because the main dining room looked beautiful walking through.

Stopped in for an early dinner after a flight from Florida. We started with the fig stuffed quail with Brussels sprout salad. For our main course we has cedar plank salmon and the seared ahi tuna. The portions were generous and both meals were above satisfactory. This is our go-to spot when we fly into Manchester.

Love the monkey bread. Beet tartare and curry shrimp were great. Service was good. Hubby had onion soup and Caesar salad both of which he liked. The sampler was just right for the two of us to get a little sweet with out the too full feeling.

Excellent. What a place! We were here for a bachelorette dinner, and service for such a large group was on point. They made us feel welcome(which, as a former waitress, I realize can be difficult to do when you have a HUGE group of squealing girls), and helped us split the bill. The food was AMAZING. I wish we had more time to enjoy it, as we had a busy night ahead of us, but if I lived back in NH I would definitely be back to this place. The charcuterie board was on the the best I’ve ever had(such unique options!) the drinks were perfect, and the atmosphere was romantic without being stuffy. Great spot!
