I love this place whenever they have a Groupon. The miso soup is way overpriced, but it’s a sushi place so I guess that is to be expected. They do serve some delicious sushi, though.

Went with a group. I just wasn’t too impressed. The portions were much smaller than other places. I probably won’t be back. Their are too many other sushi and hibachi places. I really wanted this one to work out because it is the closest one to our house, just nothing special about it.

Came for lunch, deserted… surprising, as the food was excellent. Everything was prepared PERFECTLY cooked — expertly. Although, we are the one ones here, so, I would expect that. Couple minor things in that the ginger sauce is a bit too sweet for my liking, as was the salad dressing, but my dining companion enjoyed the salad immensely. Didn’t try any sushi, but it looked fresh and.appealing.

I was here a week ago on a Sunday. My 14 month enjoyed the food and hibachi show just as much as we did. The staff, price and quality of food was awesome. After being disappointed with another Hibachi restaurant in Grapevine(too oily, salty & over priced), I was a little skeptical about this place. But, the Unilocal reviews were encouraging. And overall spot on! The family and I will be back for sure

I think Sushi Axiom just lost a customer. My wife and I visited Hanami tonight for the first time. First, love the cucumber water… very refreshing to get you ready for the feast to come. Without a doubt you must order the pan-seared pot stickers. Fabulous! My wife had the sushi, and being that guy that hates raw fish I was blown away at the Hibachi Steak and Chicken meal I had. It came with soup, salad, fried rice, and hibachi cooked vegetable. Which in my opinion were the best grilled vegetables I’ve ever had. This place is fantastic. It’s a little farther of a drive for me but well worth it! Great portions… Great Prices… Superb Service!

When I am in town I make sure I have lunch here at least once. Calamari is a must! The wait staff has always been great and got us on a reward program that gets us free food when we are there. We did the hibachi on our last trip there and had steak and shrimp it was OUTSTANDING. At lunch we have the Sushi and it is the best we have had. There is not one bad thing I can say abought this place and will be back many more times!

Crazy fish was crazy good. Presentation was pleasing. Had two sushi rolls both fresh and good. Prices are reasonable and our server was great

I’m torn on this place. I’ve been there twice with VASTLY different experiences. Let me say this first: The food is GREAT here. Unlike most hibachi restaurants I’ve visited, the meat is still juicy after cooking. Their calimari is the best my wife has ever had, as it is cut thickly, like a steak. I can attest the same for their beef and chicken. However, on our recent visit, on a Friday night around 8:00PM, we had a pretty poor experience. There was a fairly long wait to be seated, but we expected that, based on the day, time and quality of food. The problem occurred, after we were seated. There are 8 hibachi tables in the dining room in which we were seated, but only 3 cooks! REALLY?!? ON A FRIDAYNIGHT??? Oh well, needless to say, we sat at our table for a VERY long time before our cook showed up. No biggie, right? We can always order drinks and start on the salad and soup… Finished those. Still no cook. They were putting on what appeared to be quite a performance, at the tables where they were cooking. Enjoyed conversation with my wife, until I ran out of iced tea. I looked around for our waitperson, but didn’t see him. Another waitperson was constantly visiting his tables, but ours was nowhere to be seen. Eventually, I spotted our guy at one of the tables where cooking was ongoing, but he never came back to ours. I ended up going to a stand where I could see silver pitchers of something and two female employees having a conversation. I told one that I’d like a refill and our waitperson hadn’t been around. Her comment was, «He’s having a tough night.» She brought me tea. Sweetened tea. In all fairness, I did not specify unsweetened tea, as I was expecting her to have our waitperson refill my glass and he knew what I ordered. Within minutes of her bringing me a glass of sweet tea, our waitperson brought a glass of unsweetened tea. I’m not sure if he finally noticed my empty glass(from across the dining room) or somebody told him my comment. By the time our cook showed up, one salad, soup and several glasses of tea later, I wasn’t very hungry. Oh well, great leftovers at a place with impeccable service(my home)!

What a great find! My Middle had turned 16, and we were headed for a family dinner to celebrate. We were in HEB on other family business, so this worked perfectly! They have regular dining areas, an hibachi area with maybe 6 – 7 tables, a sushi bar, and a bar bar. The overall effect is swanky, yet appropriate for a family situation. We chose not to wait the 25 minutes for hibachi seating, so we got a spot near the sushi bar. We were in the mood for a little bit of everything, so we went to town! Pineapple fried rice, pad thai, ahi tower, and three rolls. Everything was delicious, and served beautifully. Even the youngest — after intense questioning about whether she would end up like an episode of Monster Inside Me — took a break from her usual strict cooked-only stance and dug in with the rest of us. Best part: all of that, four diners, was a touch under $ 80. Win! We decided not to call in the whole Japanese drum situation on the birthday girl, but our awesome server Andy could clearly see what was up and brought us a(gigantic, delicious, so perfect it looked fake) slab of cheesecake with a candle in it. This place hits the sweet spot: schmancy enough to feel special, reasonable enough to not have the flop-sweats until your next payday. All in all, it was such a nice night that we plan to come back to try more of the extensive menu. And maybe figure out what you have to order to get it served in one of those awesome sushi boats!

Oooh nice date locale. I’ve been driving past this place on 183 and have been meaning to try it forever. The inside matches the outside; all trendy and modern, with a thoughtful and varied menu. The food is good. I got crispy duck; he got beef bulgogi. We liked that the calamari appetizer wasn’t the circular variety, but thick meaty pieces. They also have a ton of sushi rolls, rice plates, and drinks with nightly specials. The presentation was curious for my food; Broccoli circled my plate. His kimchi was great. Prices were also ~20% cheaper than what you’d expect. I was in my scrubs. There were other patrons in scrubs. And when I used the bathroom I noticed there was a sticky from a 12-lead EKG stuck to the trashcan. Does anyone know why this is a medical hangout… Idk but we’ll be back.

My boyfriend and I came here for the first time today and we’re more than amazed. The restaurant has a nice and sleek look. We had the calamari appetizer and it was delicious. The calamari was tender and in nice sized pieces. It had excellent flavor and a little heat. The crawfish dynamite roll and the eel avocado rolls were amazing. The service rocks and so does the saki. We definitely will be back!

I had a fantastic BD dinner here! Andy was so accommodating to us from bringing out a cake slicer, candles for my cake, lighter, and a gong. He even started off my birthday song and other diners chimed in. My smoked salmon was almost too beautiful to eat and delicious, unagi was perfectly sweet, and sister’s roll that had salmon, tuna and whitefish topped on a California roll was good even though I am not a fan of rolls. The hibachi guy was super entertaining and the grilled chicken and shrimp was enjoyed by all. I look forward to going back!

Came here a couple of weeks ago for a date night with my honey. Saw a Groupon and grabbed it. I’d been here one other time before when it first opened. Good food! I just didn’t have a chance to come back until now. Used the Groupon to get hibachi dinner. It was delicious! The show was great and the food was just so much and so fantastic. We had so much food leftover, I ate it for a large lunch the next day :) I forgot to take pics of our food like I usually do. We did get the couple date meal with the filet and salmon. Filet was perfectly done. It was all very delicious. The décor in the restaurant is very pretty and very modern. Lots of money was spent sprucing up this place compared to how it was previously :) Can’t wait to come back

Since opening maybe a year ago, Hanami has become our favorite local spot for sushi. The restaurant’s sleek, contemporary décor sets a modern vibe as you enter the restaurant. There’s hibachi dinner service to the right, and sit-down dinner service with a full bar to the left, but we always head straight for the back to the sushi bar. High-back chairs are stylishly angled toward a sushi bar stocked with delicious fresh seafood. Friendly sushi chefs prepare a dazzling array of clever specialty rolls that are grouped by type — crunchy, spicy, light, etc. On different visits I’ve tried Georgia Peach, Summer Breeze and others. I’ve also enjoyed classics like the spicy tuna hand roll, avocado roll and nigiri. What I love about the sushi is that it’s not only tasty, but also beautifully presented. Check out my pictures. It’s worth signing up for the restaurant’s 5 stars loyalty program — they frequently send texts that can be redeemed for free appetizers up to $ 10. The shrimp tempura, generously sized and crispy, is a good choice.

Our first time to try it and we loved it! Hamachi nigiri, smoked salmon nigiri, tempura, temptation sushi, lo mein, and yakisoba… all were great. The sushi and nigiri were the best! Also loved the bar and friendly staff. Definitely a new favorite restaurant for us!

Was here for a late dinner. We drive past this place quite often and decided to give it a go since our regular sushi joint closes early on Sunday. As soon as walked in, we couldn’t believe how pretty it was inside. We sit down and order off the menu right away as we were starving and wanting to look over the menu some more(one roll to get us started and miso soup). When our waitress came back to take the rest of our order, we were surprised that ALL of our food came out at once. And also had to remind her of our soup. The soup was what is expected of miso. Hot and good. The sushi on the other hand was bland. Even the ginger and Wasabi was bland! I couldn’t believe it. No kick in the Wasabi at all! Nada. Nothing. As appealing as it is, I don’t think we will go back. Which is sad because I am sure the hot food tastes good. But we don’t want to risk spending more money for subpar food.

A little on the expensive side, but very good. Service is quick and friendly and presentation is fun. They add colored, lighted ice cubes to the plates. I ordered the Lycheetini and it was scrumptious! Our normal sushi joint never has the Lychees, so I was happy they did. One of my favorite martinis! The saki was flavorful as well. All the rolls and sashimi we ordered were fresh and skillfully created. The flavors punched and everyone enjoyed our meal. Definitely a new place on our rotation!

We had a groupon here and decided to give it a go, we sat in the dining room side and it had a very modern feel to it. I had a Bellini tini and it was delicious! Not to strong but still had a good kick. Hubs ordered calamari to start off with, it was hot and crispy had a spicy mayo dipping sauce which I loved! We ordered a cajun salmon sushi piece and white tuna sushi, tasted very fresh and it was decent cut. The white tuna had ponzu, thick piece of sliced avocado and a jalapeño slice. Cajun salmon was good and spicy We also got Godzilla, melting pot, butterfly kiss, and one that had fried lobster on top. I wish on the menu it would tell us what kind of sauces came on the rolls. Well some did but not the ones we ordered. We both hate wasabi cream sauces and 3 of our rolls had it everywhere. Besides that the butterfly kiss was my favorite! It was rice less and sushi paperless Our server was extremely nice and attentive but the sushi chiefs were either so swamped or in training because each roll came out one at a time with probably a 5 – 7 minute delay. By the time the Godzilla roll came out we were stuffed because it took that one 10 minutes after everything else came out.

This place is beautiful. Very nice, upscale, contemporary atmosphere. Perfect for a date night:) The lights are dimmed and there’s a romantic vibe to it. The tables are spread apart enough so that you don’t hear the conversation of the people next to you. The prices are right on par with other places of its class like Sushi Axiom, etc. Their menu has a great selection — they have both sushi and hibachi. I was pretty excited about their martini menu… they have one that is a white chocolate martini — and that just sounds amazing. Next time — it’s on! They also have a full bar if you’re not into martinis. The waitresses have been very attentive and friendly. I have modified my rolls a little in the past and they have been receptive to that. I have been a few times now and have been really impressed with the presentation of their dishes. Many times you will find a «glowing» ice cube on the plate — definitely makes it fun and unique. Flavor is excellent and I have found the rolls to taste very fresh. I definitely recommend trying this place. :)

It was our first time in and we love sushi. Just to begin, the atmosphere is lovely. They clearly put a lot of money into renovating the place. It’s very pretty inside. Casual if you want, but if you want to go on a nice date and be romantic and dressy, this place will do nicely. The service was really great. We had no issues at all. Everything came out quickly and was very fresh. The presentation of the sushi was AWESOME. Best sushi in Bedford.
