I’m pretty sure that Ellie is in fact one of the very sweet ladies who works behind the counter. This looks like a family run place that has what you need and really nothing more than that.
Quick breakfast food, burned coffee, well cooked eggs. This is comfort food at its core. I could ask for better décor, presentation, or ingredients, but that’s not why I came here. I came for some quick cheap, greasy breakfast food. And that is what I got. You will not hear me complain. User be warned, the menu options are limited to some simple combinations of eggs, toast, potatoes, and meat.
While I was there, about 6 or 7 people who clearly work in the area walked through and ordered something to go. I suspect their lunch menu is equivalent to the breakfast menu. There was also a group of older guys sitting there, true NJ style.
