Kenny’s Deli Cafe

Today I’m home from work because the city of Newark didn’t plow our block. The job plow guy was extremely busy making money elsewhere that he couldn’t clean our parking lot so thanks to these things I am home today. Now that I’m home and I am hungry do I get a sandwich or some crappy food from your fast food franchises. No I also don’t want anymore of the chicken noodle soup I made. What is a guy to do I would like a home cooked meal something that will fill my belly. I know go to Kenny’s Ecuadorian Café where you get a healthy serving of good Ecuadorian food.
I have ordered take out in the past but today I decided to eat in excellent choice I must say. I ordered Hornado (mote, llapingacho, tostado, aguacate, ensalada) for those who don’t speak a form of Spanish I will tell what was on my plate. Well seasoned pork, rice, potato patty and salad with avocado. The pork was seasoned perfectly and tender the rice was nice and fluffy the potato patty was delicious. Now I speak no Spanish outside my few favorite phrases I still try to use my high school Spanish lessons to read Spanish. So when I decided on what to order I read it with my broken Spanish the waitress patronized me by saying yes that’s how you say it.
While sitting at the counter wait for my food I watched a soap opera I guess of course I knew not what they were saying. Once my food was served I grabbed a taste of Ecuador Apple soda. The service was cool friendly I say an 8 I think if I could speak Spanish it would’ve been better. I only say that cause it being her native language she would have more confidence speaking with me. Outside of that she couldn’t have been more helpful.
There’s the counter with a few stools and around 8 tables 4 chairs per table oh yea also a 3 stool counter by the window.
