If you like donuts, you have to make a trip to the«Big Valley» for a taste of N/S Sweeties. The husband and wife team of Neil and Sharon make some of the best filled donuts I’ve ever had. Their donuts are about double the size of the national donut maker, and taste incredibly fresh. $ 1.25 for one, $ 5 per half dozen, $ 9 per dozen. They open at 6am, and close when sold out, so get there early. I once went at 10:30 am on a Saturday and they were totally bought out that day. They also have filled«goobers» which are amazing as well. The bagels look good, but I’ve never had one. If you like variety, they have lots of exotic flavors of donuts, such as Banana Cream and Apple Cider. This bakery is worth the 10 minute detour of off US Highway 322 toward Belleville! They don’t have a website, but do maintain a facebook page.
