Great little hidden liquor store. Excellent selection of beer, wine, and liquor. They have chilled cases of beer, but not sixers. The six pack selection in the back, through the wine room, is quite good. The building is interesting, like an old house turned into a liquor store. The prices are good, good enough to have me coming back.

Excellent liquor store. The location is a bit bizarre and if you don’t know where you are going then you might miss it. They have a generous selection of beer, wine, and spirits. Sometimes we walk in with no idea what we are looking for, but we always find something that will float our boat. The staff is quite knowledgeable about the wines and beers they carry. Although they know their booze, they are never snooty or pretentious about it. Thus has become our go-to liquor store.

Place has a descent selection but is not kept up. Stopped in one night when it was raining. There were all kinds of leaks near the beer area. Cases of beer clearly showing signs of water damage and water stains. Owners clearly don’t give a crap. I’ll take my business elsewhere.

I have been to this store several times. They have good wines and beers at decent prices. This is one of the better local stops for wine and/or beer in this part of Essex County. I would give 4 stars, which would be 4 if there were growler refills available. To be a 6 they need to match Hoosick Street Beverage Center in Troy, NY which has 900 beers and on my way to ski in Vermont!

Manny(the owner), Freddie J. needs to learn to shop around at your place. You have a great selection and a lot of good bargains. Love it! One drawback: I raced to get there before closing(and probably broke a few laws doing so), got there at 8:55PM and the doors were locked. The worker inside gave me the«we’re closed» sign. I politely expressed my frustration but to no avail. I thought, «What is this the library? Who closes before their closing time except for libraries(and pretty much all government agencies!?)» The date was Tuesday, March 18, 2014. Whoever was working should be move to the day shift since they apparently get too tuckered by 8:55PM. I ended up going to Kelly’s by Belleville Shop-Rite, which is open till 10.(But they don’t post most of their prices which is VERY frustrating, and one of the reasons I like your place much better.) Thanks for listening.(Before tonight’s early close, I would have given 5 stars, but I’m giving 4 [and wish I could do 4.5]) –DF
