Fairways were really rough in a few spots, bunkers were very wet(one had turned into a pond on #2) from all the rain lately, greens were pretty nice though. Enjoyable, but could be better.

It was a warm summer day, and as the heat of the June sun glaringly made its presence known, a few beads of sweat on my brow made it apparent that the day would be won on both willpower, and on sheer tolerance of the unknown. This, in its simplest of forms, was Golf. The golf tournament of the organization to which I so loyally and proudly lend my services had officially commenced. It began, it went on, and it had ultimately concluded; there would be no trophies awarded to my team on this day. However, the thrill of the game had been enough of a trophy in itself. Yet, after the conclusion of the golf outing, but before departing The Orchards, our group gathered in the clubhouse to partake in the award presentations, as well as to enjoy a multitude of snacks, and jests alike. It is here that I developed a likeness to this great establishment of sport. It is in the most honest of my opinions that I will note the amazing helpfulness and undying enthusiasm of the staff at The Orchards of Bellville, IL. Two wonderful ladies in particular, who in reviewing, and for the sake of privacy, I will rearrange the letters to their names: Dellanie and Cara.(yes, two letters in the name Cara have been rearranged). Dellanie and Cara are two very helpful, enthusiastic, and well-mannered women who have great senses of humor, and greater senses of patience. There we sat, all evening and well into the night, enjoying everyone’s company and occasionally gazing up at the hockey game on the overhead television at the bar. With lightly a heart and often a joke, we poked fun at a plethora of different and entertaining topics throughout our time. Dellanie and Cara were always accommodating, always smiling, and always entertaining the good nature of our cause. It is with excitement and great, great fondness that I look toward next year’s tournament, which is rumored to have already been reserved for The Orchards. I again look forward to sporting on that beautiful course, and reveling in that wonderful clubhouse. Until that time, I will keep The Orchards at heart in warm regards. Warm Regards.

I enjoy this golf course. its a pretty challenging course and good for the money. The course is always in good shape, greens are fun as they can be challenging! the staff here is pretty friendly and they are good at getting you out on the course even if you don’t have a tee time, but i recommend making one… the bar here in the clubhouse has a pretty wide variety of drink choices. the food is pretty good, and the cart lady on the course was only seen once on 18 holes and she didn’t even stop to ask me if i needed anything!, there’s a first time for everything :(haha if you have the day off or just don’t want to work, have a good day or bad going then come on out and play a round here … any day on the golf course is a better day than a bad day anywhere else!
