I have been trying to find ways to in prove my health after a few allergy outbreak. I finally found Michelle Wu from my insurance panel. She was highly rated so I gave it a try. Since then I returned a few times. Her clinic is very busy so I usually have to schedule ahead of time for weeks. After every visit, I always felt better and wish I could come more often. She gave me some advices to avoid sugar and gluten for a while… oh but it’s easier to say than done. I would recommend her to anyone!

I was there for two visit and Dr. Wu was very inpatient. She keep asking me about my insurance coverage and what’s cover and what’s not cover. Seem like she only care whether or not she gets pay. That’s very unprofessional in my opinion. Maybe she does have very good clinical skill. But whenever a healthcare provider only do treatment according to insurance coverage, that’s NONO to me. I would not Recommend her.

Three miscarriages, two unsuccessful IVF treatments, and almost 40 years old… I was ready to try acupuncture in order to get pregnant. This was my first experience with ANY kind of acupuncture, and I did a lot of research to find a practioner. I specifically wanted a female, preferably trained in China. I am so glad I found Michelle Wu! For several weeks, I went twice a week, had needles stuck all over me, laid on the table for 1 – 2 hours, and drank the terrible-tasting tea 3 times a day. Dr. Wu was professional, caring, and took the time to explain everything… though she treats patients simultaneously. The next month, I got pregnant. The natural way. We were shocked. My daughter was born perfectly healthy, in March 2008. Definitely 5 stars. :)

Dr. Wu is phenomenal! She seems to have an innate skill for acupuncture. I was suffering from a neurological disorder and she fixed me right up. She was helpful and flexible with payments and the whole insurance mess and it was clear that she was very concerned for my well-being. The whole experience was fantastic. A soft music is played and you lay on a massage table thing with soft, clean sheets for however long the treatment is. I was relaxed enough to fall asleep for every treatment. I actually could feel myself getting better after every 2 – 3 treatments(1/day for 5 days a week, lasting about 2.5 months). The needles don’t hurt. They are actually thinner than what you think of when you think of needles. It’s very, very relaxing. I strongly recommend. Even if you don’t «believe» in acupuncture, it’s worth a shot right? Or a poke. ;) I certainly prefer this to taking mysterious pills and playing roulette with the random side effects, or going under the knife for anything.
