Dr Boone is great but the office staff is incompetent and has screwed up my sons follow up twice. Prepared to be annoyed and check and double check

I’ve seen 2 doctors here – Dr. Boone repaired my fractured leg, and Dr. Hansen helped me with tendonitis in my ankle. I was very impressed with both of them – Dr. Boone is a terrific surgeon (he did a trauma fellowship, has great technical skills and a great bedside manner), and Dr. Hansen, the foot specialist, took a lot of time to explain to me why my tendon was inflamed and what I could do to fix it myself. I had been working with 2 physical therapists, and in one visit with Dr. Hansen I got more benefit than I had from a month of P.T. I recommend this place to anyone with leg or foot pain – They really know their stuff.

It is shocking and deplorable how a practice that relies on people for business can provide horrible service.
I typically go out of my way to provide positive feedback, even when service is not so stellar. The folks at BBJP worked really hard to disappoint.
I am sure the staff means well and they are great people. It is the management, leadership and doctors that bear the responsibility for the negative environment and unprofessional treatment.
I printed all the form at home and showed up at the office 45 minutes before my scheduled appointment to properly fill out all forms– completed shortly before 10am. I registered and sat in the waiting room waiting another 30 minutes (75 minutes total) without anyone seeing me. I left their office and did not get the treatment. Totally wasted time.
Really disappointing that they have no respect for our time, when we honor our commitment and show up on time. We have work and responsibilities to juggle, and we come seeking treatment and healing for whatever ails us. This is the wrong place to provide healing and sound advise, if they can’t even respect our time.
When you treat your customers (new and existing) with respect, it comes back with many more rewards and reflects positively on the culture overall. And, with that, you can provide patient care, be respectful of our time, build a fun environment, while maintaining a thriving and profitable practice. I really hope the folks at BBJP will take the time to reflect on these comments and make some correction. For the sake of the community, their staff, and the their business.

The doctor and the physical therapist are good; however, their billing has big problem. They sent me the bill which my insurance already paid for it so I called them up to let them know that Premera already paid for it. They said sorry and told me that I’m good. One week after that, I received a different bill for an item that I already paid myself right on the date when I visited the physical therapist. I’ll never be back here again.

I went in to get some information on arthritis since my wrists were hurting and they said I needed x-​rays. After talking with friends after my appointment, i find out x-​rays will do nothing for arthritis. Then after the x-​rays turn up negative, the doctor tells me to take IB Profen everyday to see if the pain goes away. This place felt like a quick money grab. Go here with caution.

I am beyond thankful for the work that the amiable Dr. Boone did to fix my hip. The staff were always friendly and efficient. Rooms always clean. I would recommend BBJP to anyone and everyone!

I saw Dr. Boone for a Labral tear in my hip. My initial appointment explained what was going to happen and how soon I could be scheduled for surgery. Everything happened quick and went smoothly. He is very friendly and willing to address any of your concerns. Highly recommended.

I would like to send you this letter regarding the superb customer service that the staff at the front desk provide all patients. Sylvia Woo is outstanding as is Mary Winter, Rachel and Katie Hall, MA. They make you feel like they honestly really care about your well-​being. They are friendly, courteous, efficient, intelligent, and very caring.
My best friend gave me a ride in for one appointment and even she mentioned how great everyone was on the front desk. They are also able to balance many balls at one time. If there is a lineup at the front stations they make sure everyone waiting is acknowledged. They also always remember your first name which is a nice personal touch. Another nice touch is that they maintain eye contact. You aren’t just a number you are an important person to the practice. They all do their jobs in a manner which shows they really like what they are doing and it proves out with their superior customer service. I was on crutches and they were very aware of my limitations and offered whatever help they could and still maintain their stations.
Also a huge kudos to Andrew McIntyre — He is excellent in every way imaginable. A very sharp young man who is beyond positive about BBJP which is nice to see and hear.
I saw Dr. Battaglia for my fractured tibial plateau that I did water-​skiing. In 3.5 months he got me back to normal with rechecks, crutches, ice, a wrap and no cast. He and his Assistant Andy are very thorough and did an x-​ray and a mri to exactly determine what I had done to my knee. Robert the physical therapist is also outstanding.
I have been going to BBJP for close to 20 years — back when Dr. Earl VanSandt was in practice. This practice has always been «Better than Best» and I thank you and appreciate your having great physicians and being able to hire and retain such excellent employees.
