I should have walked out the moment I walked in. Not only is this probably one of the smallest Claire’s I’ve been to, it’s disorganized, the cash register is a hot mess and the staff has to be the rudest I have ever come across. I waited patiently to ask a question as the items I came in for were no where to be found. I chalked it up to the disorganization of the store. However, when I seriously kindly asked the 20 yo behind the counter, she literally said I don’t know looked at the other cashier who looked at me rolled her eyes and walked away. Rather say let me look into it for you they pathetically didn’t answer and and one walker away. With so much competition from other stores that sell the junk they sell at cheaper prices I will never step foot in here again. If you want to be assisted by condescending (don’t know if either of these cashiers would know what that word means) careless employees who can’t wait to «like get off and party» then by all means waste your time and money here– otherwise look elsewhere.

I got my doubles done at Claire’s and they did such a good job, I’d recommend doing ear piercing at the Bellevue Square location because the people who do the ear piercings they tell you not to flex and just stay calm and if it’s your first time of getting your ears pierced or its your second time getting your doubles or triples done Claire’s will treat you well and take good care of you.

Do not get your child’s or your ears pierced here! Dirty! Painful! And they make you purchase stuff to clean your ears that caused an immediate allergic reaction.
You want quality? Go to Pelage Spa in Issaquah. You want an infection go to ANY Claire’s.

Since I have two daughters, I know every Claire’s store this side of the Cascades!!! And we prefer this store more than all the others. Yes, it’s crowded and there are display «island/​columns» everywhere, and it’s hard to navigate around the store when it’s busy. (Don’t even bother, if you have a stroller or carriage or are in a wheelchair). That said, this is the BEST location to go to get ears pierced! Like the other stores, there’s no privacy (unfortunately), so curious on-​lookers and shoppers will be hovering, watching. But the managers who do the actual piercings are so thorough and good, I just wish they were around when I was younger and had my ears pierced.
The managers here have pierced my kids’ ears four times (both kids have double piercings). My kids first had this done when they were young (kindgergarten and grade one). They were nervous. The managers treated them with kid gloves, showed them the procedure by actually piecing a teddy bear’s ears first, and both managers simultaneously pierced my kids’ two ears at the same time. (I’ve heard horror stories of kids who, after having one ear pierced, said it hurt so much, they weren’t getting the second one pierced, and waited months until they got the second ear pierced! That was NOT going to happen to my kids! And the Claire’s managers at this store agreed and obliged).
Each time, the piercings were done so well, so quickly, and so smoothly that my kids said it didn’t hurt at all. They were scared each time, of course, but afterwards, they said they felt nothing. And it’s totally sterile. They pierce their ears with the actual earrings they choose. The earrings are sterile, individually wrapped, never before touched. The managers wear disposible gloves, they cleanse the kids’ ears first, and if they pull back the kids’ hair, they even wipe the metal hair clips with alcohol wipes first. They are extremely thorough, and they go over the procedure and the care requirements in detail with the kid and the parent.
I wouldn’t go anywhere else than this particular Claire’s location for ear piercing.

My son came here to have his ears pierced, but was very nervous about being «poked».
Lucinda took care of everything and was fabulous (give the girl a raise!!!). Pierced his ears– gently, he didnt feel a thing– and was fabulous at showing him the necessary after care, and helping him choose his first pair ot stud earrings.
She calmed his nerves and was friendly and fun. Thanks so much Lucinda, you made this a really great experience. This was a great place for him to have his ears pierced… no pain, really fun!
Store had a great selection of reasonably priced jewelry and accessories. we’ll be back!
