Dolce Vita Salon & Nail Spa

Booked a same day appointment with Angie on a Saturday and the front desk receptionist was very efficient and I was happy to get an appointment! Off to a great start and long story short I needed an emergency cut after my hair caught fire.
After a shampoo I requested a reconstruction treatment given the damage to my hair (I was actually surprised she didn’t suggest one). Got the keratin treatment, which is well worth the $ 20 add on. Unfortunately my stylist was not knowledgable or did not present as such about products. I can appreciate that there isn’t a push on products or unnecessary treatment but this was an extreme circumstance and I want to be taken care of by an expert.
The cut was good and straightforward. I opted for a simple one length and requested framing to my face. Bottom line is come here knowing what you want. It must have not been a creative day or she was not on a suggestive mood but I wanted a little more direction than received for $ 100 service.
Satisfied, not over the top crazy about my stylist and would come back to try another. Very clean and personable staff with a homey and profession atmosphere.

I’m so happy I discovered this salon! I moved to the Seattle area eight years ago from Kansas City and probably have been to over a dozen hair salons, all with disappointing to disastrous results. I moved to Newcastle last year and did a Unilocal search and realized that Dolce Vita was right down the road and had excellent reviews so I decided to give them a try.
I could not be more thrilled! I’ve gone to Ali several times and she always gives me an amazing cut. I’m in my 50’s and didn’t want anything trendy, just pretty. My shoulder length hair is very straight and difficult to cut, but she spent a lot of time getting to know my hair and actually listened to what I wanted. Many people, men in particular, have complimented my hair since I’ve been going to Ali. I have referred others to her too, including a coworker from Germany, and they all have said it’s the best cut they’ve gotten.
And did I mention that the price is much lower than the Seattle salons, plus you don’t have to pay for parking! I highly recommend this salon, and Ali, if you want a superior cut and attention to detail.

I live and work nearby this salon, and one day I had a nail break really bad and I was driving by so decided to stop in to see if there was anything they could do to help. Their nail tech saw me right away and told me she could place something almost like a clear strip to act like a «band-​aid» and repaint over it but I was fine with having just one shorter nail for the time being so she cut and filed the one nail and actually repainted on the white tip for me (I had a french manicure done). As I was walking up front, ready to pay them, they told me that it was no charge and I was very surprised because she spent a decent amount of time with me and even had a scheduled appointment soon after I got there but she took the time to see me and help me out. I was very thankful for her help.
I’d gotten a pedicure done here once before and it was very clean and everyone was super friendly, I saw Angelica and she’s fun to talk to. I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for some fun nail art!

The is a wonderful salon. They all provide excellent professional and personal service. I am very paranoid of infection and this place is spotless! Catia does a fabulous job on nails and Alison is a really talented hair stylist.

What a wonderful find! The staff is very pleasant, courteous, and accommodating. The salon was very tidy and clean during my visit. My stylist was Sarah and she did a tremendous job listening to my requests and adding her recommendations. I had an excellent experience and came away feeling like a million bucks, sporting a very stylish new haircut that felt and looked great. If you’re looking for a place that has true pros who will know you by name and treat you like family, definitely pay Dolce Vita Salon a visit.

I’ve been seeing Allie at Dolce Vita Salon for several months now. The entire staff at Dolce Vita are professional and always accommodating. I have a very rigid schedule and they always find time to fit in. Allie is very personable and I always leave feeling beautiful and pampered. I’m so glad to have finally found a top-​notch salon close to home.

I just moved to the area and having left my hairdresser of 20 years was really nervous about finding a new salon. I found Dolce Vita through Unilocal reviews and was able to get an appointment the same week. I was lucky to get placed with Alison as she was wonderful. The environment is relaxing and inviting. All of the staff are friendly and genuine. Alison was very helpful in figuring out the right hair color for me and was meticulous in her care. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a professional experience and a excellent result.

I have been here several times for many different services including nails, waxing, and a haircut. they never fail to do an amazing job in whatever I come in there for! the owners of the salon are always there as well, always having a smile and a great
personality greeting you at the front desk! it’s definitely hard to get a walk-​in appt but it’s understandable because they do such a great job they are always booked up! :D

This place is amazing… Everybody is very very nice and very professional, including the front desk. Alison M. Cut my hair for the first time last month and did Amazing! I just left my second hair cut appointment with her 5 minutes ago and I could not be happier, once again she provided me with the exact haircut I wanted and envisioned. Thank you Alison! Customer service is great here! I really liked the lady that did my hair, we had great conversation. Unfortunately my hair turned very dark brassy red less than a week later and the reason I went here was to avoid red at all costs. I think the reason my roots looked ok at first was the two toners that were applied. I used the recommend toner twice a week at home and it didn’t help. I’ve been getting my hair bleached for years and it’s never turned this red at the roots. Like I said, the staff was amazing, I just didn’t get the result I was looking for.
Driving over an hour to get there and spending almost $ 200 was not worth it.

I just moved up to the Seattle area and was in need of a haircut! This salon was able to fit me in within an hour of calling. Angie did a great job cutting my hair and maintained a perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness. Will definitely be back! Thank you

Desperately needed a hair cut and called in for an appointment on a Thursday. They were able to take me in the same day which was awesome! I got there and was offered, water, coffee or wine?! No doubt I was there to relax so I opted for the wine and wow they did not skim on the pour. Got my hair cut from Jesse and was (still am) very pleased with my results. I would certainly consider making an appointment at Dolce Vita for future hair/​nail needs! They also offer 10% off for any service if it’s your birthday month. Good thing mine is in November! Giving it a 4 stars out of 5 since I can’t speak for the nail services yet!

I can’t say enough about how well Dolce Vita’s team treated me on my first visit to their salon. I was headed out of town for the weekend and it had been a spectacularly busy week. I desperately needed color (after being hooked for years on balayage at Gene Juarez in Bellevue, I had never found a smaller salon able to perform this technique) and a haircut. I’d been going to the same stylist at GJ for 15 years, and never planned to switch. But, this salon was nearby and I’d heard such great things about the owner and staff, I decided to be brave and try it just once.
From the moment I called the salon to make an appointment, I was treated as royalty. I couldn’t come in when they had openings due to my work schedule and the tight timeframe before I left. No problem, they told me. Their stylist Jesse would be happy to stay after her regular shift to do my hair at a time convenient for me. You’re kidding, right? No, seriously. They meant it. I made an end-​of-​business day appointment.
I arrived for my appointment and was offered a glass of wine while I waited five minutes for my service. Holy moly, who does that? I’m coming back. :)
Someone knows how to make my day here.
Jesse’s balayage color technique produced gorgeous results. She also did a fabulous cut (I love it!) and was knowledgeable and generous with tips and tricks about how to do my hair for an upcoming formal event. The best part? She did all of this while she did exactly what I had asked her for. Wow, I couldn’t believe it.
We casually talked about my concerns about needing a boost for my skin before my upcoming trip, and the salon team worked to find a time I could return (the same day!) for a facial to address my biggest concerns. When I arrived later the same day for my facial, Angelica was delightful and immediately put me at ease. Her facial addressed my needs perfectly, and I left after having a cup of green tea on a very chilly day. Thanks again for all of the personal touches and ways you all pampered me in your care!
From start to finish, every member of the team went out of their way to make me feel comfortable, welcome, and like an old friend. Wow, you can’t get that at Gene Juarez. It’s official. I’m hooked.

This place is impeccable, you are greeted warmly at the front desk and offered a beverage right away, no waiting time as they take and respect appointments.
Had the best mani-​pedi ever by Catia, while my friend and I had our services the whole staff came by to say hi, they all are smiley, friendly and work as a team making you feel welcome and ensuring you are satisfied at all times, Catia took a generous amount of time on both my pedicure and manicure, it was very relaxing and the quality of her work was outstanding! I live in Seattle and from my place is a good 15 mile drive, you can get a mani-​pedi anywhere, a quality mani-​pedi is not an easy find, at least for me, this is place is a gem. I am definitely coming back for more, next time I will try to get my haircut here. Thank you Catia you did a wonderful job and I appreciate it, thank you everyone for such a TREAT.

Fantastic haircut from Sarah. I moved here from Texas 2 months ago and I just knew finding a new place would be difficult. Well with the help of Unilocal it was not. Sarah did a fantastic job and knew exactly what I wanted and succeeded. I will definitely be back.

Really polite customer service on the phone and in person. Asked if I wanted coffee or water as I waited for my hair appointment, only had to wait less than 5 minutes. The salon was nice but not in a pretentious way, not overly done to look cheesy either. Main thing I noticed was that it was extremely clean — as clean as it could possibly be.
Haircut was good, had it cut by Sara. It cost $ 25 pre-​tip, similar to $ 40+ haircuts i’ve had in downtown Bellevue. Sara layered my hair very nicely, new what she was doing, didn’t rush the cut.
For $ 25, well-​worth the money. I can’t think of anything negative I could critique. I highly recommend this place for anyone that lives in Bellevue.

This is the place to go for hair, makeup, manicure, pedicure or facial treatments. I love it here. The staff is awesome. Great atmosphere, they always make you feel so welcome at the salon. No dramas or gossiping, it’s perfect!

My mom and I are both in Bellevue from out of town, and decided to check out Dolce Vita for a pedicure. I could not be happier with the service we got. Catia and Alida were so easygoing and sweet, and Chris (the manager) took excellent care of us. Our nails look awesome, and we were made to feel so welcome.
The only thing that could make my experience better is if the salon used fume-​free low-​chemical products (Butter of London or Spa Ritual). I know that’s not for everyone, but I do prefer those products when I can get them. That said, the service was so outstanding I’m not inclined to complain overmuch about the fumes.

I came in for a shellac manicure… but my nails had been damaged by the previous place I had gone to. Catia took the time to look at what my nails needed to get healthy again and did a gorgeous job. I will never go anywhere else.
The shop is absolutely darling and everyone there makes you feel pampered and special.
