Halal Meats Hand Slaughter

Rude! I called the store you ask what tie it closes and the owner said 8 pm. I reached there at 7:50pm. The store is hard to find. I called the store again. The owner said in a very rude voice that the store is already closed and hung up on me! I wish I had a job where I can be this with my potential customers and still survive:)

Every time we buy the mutton there is more fat than meat. Last time I bought the whole cut chicken… I cooked the chicken properly at home and when we were eating it it tasted it and smelled like bad chicken like the smell you get when the raw chicken has been sitting for long. I have to throw it. Yuck and double yuck. I will be searching for another place.

Me and my wife visited this store couple of days back in hopes of buying chicken. While we were there we saw another guy order a whole chicken fresh cut and we thought we could also get the same. All we needed was 1lb of chicken so checked with the owner on getting some. He pointed to the counter to pre-​cut packaged chicken and said go buy that… which was by the way in and around 2.5 lbs. He was extremely rude and condescending in his tone, giving absolutely no respect to us as customers.
This was the second time we visited this store and we got the same vibe the last time too. That time we bought something as it was our first time and we cut him some slack.
I guess he needs to learn to deal with customers before selling stuff to them.
Needless to say. we didn’t buy from him and would recommend others also to keep away. Not worth it !!!

This place is probably one of the few places I found that sell halal meat. However the prices are way too high. Their list price is not that high but they have some convoluted way of arriving at final price I could not understand. Example, while chicken is priced at $ 1.99 and Cut and Clean chicken is priced at $ 2.99 but the chicken I bought was 2.4 pounds and costed $ 9.xx. After repeatedly asking how they got to that price, I was told that we add cost of packaging etc. don’t understand how you add a charge without explaining what it is and how much.

Got goat! I miss goat meat around here. Lamb is good and all, but goat is better! It is leaner, more chewy, but when marinated correctly, and cooked to perfection, the flavor is beyond comparison.
Also, having found a fresh-​meat slaughterhouse was valuable in and of itself. No longer do I have to worry about what factory this meat was processed in, or what it really is.
