I participated in a depression study here for over a year. It was an excellent experience all around, and I have recommended NWCRC to several people. They provide transportation to and from your appointments if you need it, and they pay you for your time and participation. All the doctors and nurses I worked with were so nice, and the drivers who picked me up and dropped me off were great too. I always felt comfortable there. One thing that concerned me a little bit was that they seem to recruit test subjects quite heavily from homeless shelters and camps. I’m not really sure how I feel about this, but I have to say that from my perspective they were treated with the same respect and dignity as anyone else. They even offered soda, juice, and snacks to anyone who came in, which I thought was really nice.
