Origins

The staff here were amazing. They didn’t push when I declined their attempts at an upsell. They offered me some samples and even recommended the line that was more in my price range. There were two gals working when I was in last night and they were both equally knowledgable and friendly. I walked out with their popular activated charcoal face mask along with some face cream and eye cream samples. I will definitely be back to see them! Great customer service.

So I realize that I have Unilocaled the Origins counter in Dillard’s when I was in AZ, but as you know I am a huge fan of their products and felt it necessary to update my notes.
This is an actual Origins store, the staff here is very knowledgeable and friendly. I love that the products are plant/​organic based.
Products I use and would recommend:
* Cleanser — Checks and Balances (great foaming face wash) & Mega-​Bright (Helps even skin tone.) I alternate between the two!
* Toner — A Perfect World (good for combination/​dry skin)
* Eye cream — GinZing (depuff’s and refreshes eyes)
* Serum — Mega-​Bright (good for evening skin tone)
* Moisturizer — GinZing (Light moisturizer that smells AMAZING!)
* Masks — Clear Improvement (Charcoal mask that clears pores, this stuff rocks when my skin is freaking out with temperature changes. Brings it all back in balance.)
I do like changing up & trying new skin care products but I find that I prefer Origins to other brands. It just works best with my fair white girl skin.

I am a fan of the products. I appreciate the staff offering samples, it is nice to sample a product before purchase to use it how one would in their own environment. However, I am very disappointed with the follow through skills of the staff. I have put my name down to be called on a wait list for a popular product and I’ve been waiting on my 4^th week, and I have confirmed with a colleague of mine, that they were able to pick up the product on the shelf, so I know when their inventory came in, I was not contacted.

The staff is totally awesome !! Live the customer service. Was able to get a free sample for my daughters eczema. The store manager is very knowledgable. Highly recommend.

I am a regular customer and never did I experience rudeness from the sales people. As soon as I walk in the door, I am greeted almost immediately. I never walk out without being asked if I want a free facial. There are some sales people I like more than the other but all are helpful, knowledgeable and very polite.

I was walking by this store on my way to exchange something at a different store when a woman with a British accent asked if I would like a free facial. I had time to kill, so I said «sure.» She picked out the Dr. Weil line for me, which I later found out was the most expensive. It smelled good and I was actually looking for a new facewash, so I asked how much the products were… $$$$$$$$$!!! I mean I know good skincare stuff isn’t cheap but $ 60 for some little bottle of face lotion? Crazy! She gave me some samples, which was really nice of her, but definitely experienced a little sticker shock during my visit. I am currently using the samples she gave me and will admit I am impressed with the products; but I am just not in the market to drop $ 300 on a skincare line.
Also, my experience with the woman giving me the facial was pleasant but her manager was a little rude and kept butting in our conversation… made me feel uncomfortable. To me, that’s not how you sell a product, especially a high end one!

Sorry, but to counter the earlier review from FIVE YEARS AGO, the staff here has been nothing if not completely amazing when I go in! They’re attentive, asking questions to find out exactly what might fit my needs.
I’ve gotten SO many wonderful samples of products to try out and then have come back to buy the ones I felt work best for my skin.
I consistently get compliments on my skin (this stuff helps me look about 10 – 12 years younger than I am!), and I give the credit where it’s due by saying, «Well, Origins takes good care of me!»
The products are great for me — much less oily than Kiehl’s stuff for my combination skin. I’m hooked on the Skin Diver Active Charcoal body wash, as well as A Perfect World cleanser with White Tea, which I use every morning and night to wash. For moisturizers, I’m using A Perfect World Antioxidant Moisturizer with White Tea, along with the AMAZING Plantscription Anti-​aging Eye Treatment. At night I moisturize my face with Starting Over Age-​erasing Moisturizer with Mimosa.
One thing I really need to stress here is that the product lasts a LONG TIME! I’ve been getting 3 – 4 MONTHS out of the little Plantscription Eye Treatment, and about 3 months out of all of the other products, if not longer.
Calculate how much you currently spend on all of those other (less effective) products, then give Origins a try! It costs when you get it all at once, but it’s WORTH IT because it lasts if you use it as directed!
Once again, this is my favorite Origins location — great staff, wonderful product, attention to detail, and they even call me occasionally when they get in something they think I may like! LOVE the personal attention.
Five stars, all the way!

Love this Origins. Every time I come here I feel welcomed and customer service is superior!

Oh Origins if only you were not so sweet and succulent I would throw you to the curb like last weeks recycling. Being one of your number one fans I expected more from you first thing in the morning. I was not even offered a peace of mind handshake to rev me up for the day. You will see me again… but you may get the cold shoulder so why not try a hand and arm massage to win me back!
