This place is incredible! I’ve been to a lot of Vietnamese in Oregon and Washington and this is one of the best. First of all, the food came very quickly — nice. I always get bun, but my date got phở and said it was also great. Whatever dish you get, make sure to get pork! The flavor is spectacular and the meat is so tender… really amazing. Get some black tea while you’re at it: very good. Nothing bad to say about the place — very impressed.

2.5 Stars(Would have been 5 stars a week ago!) For me, when I rate a restaurant several things play into it. The place always has to appear as if they take care to prepare their food, and it has to fit the niche it is filling. If it’s a super high class place but really chintzy and worn, it won’t get five stars; if I go to a Mexican restaurant and it’s aged but the food and service is good, it’s not that big of a deal. A week ago, I would have given Phở Ever five stars(rounded from 4.5). The arrangement is what I would expect and the place is tidy — the tables aren’t sticky, the décor is simple, the bowls and utensils appear clean. I was so excited to find Phở Ever because Saigon Jades, my previous favourite, had to close because they are demolishing those buildings for a parking lot. I was thrilled to find someplace highly recommended locally! It was close enough to drag my husband to lunch during the week, and it is even open on Sunday. Hooray! Well, it didn’t disappoint. Between the two of us, we have tried two different kinds of phở, an appetizer, chow mein and a vermicelli bowl during our 5(?) or so visits. The broth is stunning and consistent, the meat in the bowl and chow mein was cooked perfectly and seasoned very well. My complaints? A few minor ones: You pay $ 2 for soda, and get a little in a glass topped with ice and it’s hard to get a refill, the servers don’t check on you after serving you, the jalapenos are sliced a bit chunky, the restaurant can be a little cold, and the spoons are a bit small. All relatively minor things and because the broth is terrific, the red onions are sliced thinly and the meatballs are good, I wasn’t really going to complain. Then Monday happened. The woman who took our order seemed like a space cadet. She was staring out the window while we ordered: #80, less noodles, more bean sprouts and a Diet Coke; Ray repeated the order. When she left my husband said, ‘was she paying attention?’ and I replied, ‘she seemed distracted’. The restaurant wasn’t busy and we were hoping for a quick, hot bowl of soup before he had to get back. Someone else brought our bowls and they looked different. I was just stirring mine up when my husband called the waiter over before he left. «Excuse me. This has tripe.» #80 is beef and meatball, but no tripe. The server took the bowls and told us our waitress thought we said ‘eighteen’. I don’t think both of us made that mistake and I usually speak clearly and she was sort of spacing but, whatever. They were going to fix the problem. New bowls sorted, fresh onions on top… what could be wrong. I know what you’re thinking: ‘oh no they didn’t’. I’m here to tell you yes, yes they did. Before I continue, let me tell you how I feel about tripe — I don’t like it. I am not a picky eater by any stretch — brussels sprouts, funky herbs, parsnips, I’ve even had sweetbreads,(better than I thought). My dad grew up on a farm and used to make jelly pigs knuckles,(tried it, but no), and ate headcheese. I enjoy and cook a lot of different foods, but I have developed preferences like anyone. I do not like tripe. I don’t like the rubbery-ness, the nodules on it, or the way they flake off and look like dandruff. I don’t want to eat them. After about half a dozen spoonfuls I notice the tripe dandruff. Then I notice what looks like a piece. I call the waiter over and ask point blank if it’s fresh, if they changed out the soup because there seems to be tripe here. I wasn’t clear exactly on what happened or what got changed out(the noodles I think?), but no — it wasn’t a fresh bowl. I told him that wasn’t cool of them to do that because we didn’t want tripe. I should have just channeled Gordon Ramsey then(ha ha), but I didn’t, probably because I was stunned and I so far had only found one small-ish piece and I hate making scenes in restaurants. My husband sort of dismissed it a little,(he was in a hurry to get back to work), until I had pulled out a small pile, tangled in the noodles, and he began pulling some out of his. HA! We got the waiter over again and said we just weren’t going to finish our bowls, and this is why they get 2.5 stars instead of one — he didn’t even TRY to charge us; we offered to pay for the Diet Cokes but they said don’t worry about it. When there is an ordering mistake, don’t just try to pull the wool over our eyes and basically give us what we didn’t want. That was really terrible of the restaurant. But the waiter apologized and didn’t bill us for the food — they perhaps thought they would save money by reusing the soup but they lost it anyway because we left! It’s the best phở I’ve ever had and we had already tried several other places before coming here. We will probably go back but I will make sure she repeats my order VERYCLEARLY and if your order is wrong, make sure they bring you out a proper,(fresh) bowl of soup!

Love Vietnamese food, just moved to the Eastside, and it was a chilly rainy typical Pacific NW day. Husband, baby, and I decided to start exploring the phở places in the area and we started with Phở Ever. We went right at the lunch hour on a weekday and were greeted and seated pretty immediately. Noticed right away how clean and bright the place was. We ordered phở ga, pork and spring roll vermicelli, and and pork banh mi. The large portion of phở was actually pretty decent(I’m used to big sizes for cheap prices) — thought the amount of food was pretty good for the price. The broth was super flavorful, savory, and not salty, the bean sprouts were really fresh and crisp, and there was a good amount of meat that you could tell was hand separated from a whole chicken. The vermicelli was also really good — meat was marinated really well and the veggies were super fresh. Good portion size as well. The banh mi was lacking though — tasted more like a crusty bread sandwich with a hint of marinated meat and pickled veggies. Our water was consistently refilled and the staff were really attentive. All in all, this is on our list of definitely going back for phở and vermicelli.

I got veggie Phở with tofu and it is so good! I pick mine up to go and they were very busy. Obviously because their food is really good. The only reason I’m giving them 4⁄5 stars is I wish the broth was a little hotter temp wise. Otherwise, super clean, good flavor and everything else! Worth the extra drive I made. Oh and the presentation for Phở to go it top notch! Broth in the normal container and everything else came in a bowl to just put your broth into!

First time here. Phở is phở. It was good but could never beat where I’m from :) I had spring rolls, kinda expected a bit of egg roll crunchy wrap but there isn’t. A lot of noodles on the phone, I had the #13 and my hubby had the same. Service was good. The server was a bit confused when I gave him tip lol. The booth that we sated on was uncomfortable and hard. The back of the seat was okay. You can feel the person behind you hitting you. Kinda got irritated because the other person sitting behind my husband was hitting the back seat and said rude things to us. Oh well.

Stopped going to Phở All Day and started coming here. Can I just say I am so happy I did that! First of all their prices are cheaper and their food it better. Very impressed by the great customer service, flavor of the food, and the big portions they give. My husband and I went here and he got Phở. He said it was the best Phở soup he has had. I ended up getting the Chicken Chow Mein and absolutely loved it! So much flavor and the best in town also. Thank you Phở Ever! :)

Phở is such a staple in the NW especially during the winter. A good way to warm you up from your core. I would say that Phở Ever is one of the best phở places in the downtown Bellevue area. Located right next to the Shell gas station in a small strip mall. It’s a small restaurant, but every time I’ve been here, it’s always had quite a few tables full. I wouldn’t say busy, but a good amount of patrons. Prices are average and you can order all of your typical Vietnamese food: spring rolls, egg rolls, phở, noodle and rice dishes. Phở comes in large and small bowls. I typically order a small and it’s more than enough for me. The broth is hot and so satisfying; sprouts and basil seem crisp and fresh. One thing that keeps me coming here is the Ox Tail Phở that I’ve only found at this restaurant. Love it! Restaurant is fairly clean for a Phở restaurant. Utensils and condiments are found on the table. My only con when i come here is the service. They tend to make me feel rushed when ordering or unattended to once I’ve ordered. But, I don’t expect amazing service when coming in for Phở — I’m looking for comfort food. So I know what to expect and I’ll keep coming back.

Decently priced. Great flavor profile and depth. Servers are attentive and quick. The cooks prepare the food quickly and comes out at a good temperature to eat. We had bun go hue which was rich and had pork hooves as traditionally eaten. It was spicy and aromatic. We also had a noodle bowl which was grilled perfectly and the fish sauce was in perfect balance of saltiness, sweetness, sour, and spicy. Verdict: Vietnamese cuisine symphony

Worst phở restaurant in Bellevue. First of all, the waitresses just stand there and not give you any attention. We waited for over 5 minutes for one of them to come and take our order(we closed our menus, and tried to get their attention multiple times) second, the food isn’t that great. The meat didn’t taste fresh at all and turned white right away. Third, they charge you for limes. Wtf? They brought us a piece of line per bowl, that were very dry. Barley had any juice in them and when we asked for more they said they charge .95 cents. I think this is their new way of making business. Give you dry limes, to make sure you ask for more, then boom charge you for it. Do not recommend, and will never return.

Phở Ever is my new favorite phở place! The veggie phở is a giant bowl of veggie goodness, full of happy slices of bright greens, carrots, onions, mushrooms, and fried tofu. The broth is delightfully savory and warming. I practically licked the bowl. Veggie phở hit the spot. My omnivorous friends also enjoy their entrees, so it seems like a good crowd pleaser.

I wanted to like this place. I went in on a weekday just before 1PM and was seated promptly and served water. The restaurant was clean and posh with dark counters, flat screens, plants, and plush booths. The bowls were bigger than other places that I could remember. I like that they had meatballs in some of the combo options for phở, because most people only have a meatball phở option and if you want meatballs with any other phở, they charge extra. The bowl was bigger than I expected with lots of onion, green onion, and cilantro. Lots of meat– all fully cooked in a broth that was less than piping hot. I wonder if they cook the meat off in another vessel then added it in. The noodles also took a minutes or so to loosen from the bottom of the bowl. Anyway, bigger bowl than expected = very full tummy! However, flagging someone to take more order took several minutes of staring at a guy just standing around, gawking aimlessly. He was the same guy who brought me my food and bussed my table. I guess the servers to everything? So, the guy took my order, didn’t even need to write it down he’s so cool, and got the food out in less than ten minutes. After he bussed my table(he bussed half of my table), I waited around for about 10 minutes or so, unsure of whether I was supposed to go to the counter to pay(like Than Bros) or sit and wait for a check. Finally, cuz I had to return to the office, I went up to pay where I was told apologetically that I should’ve waited at my table and they were a little behind because they were busy. Which was weird, cuz guy had time to bus half of my table but not drop off a check? Anyway, what really dropped it a star is the LIE! There is a big sign in the front saying there is NOMSG. The broth was quite tasty but I didn’t guzzle it down. Still… 8 hours after eating that phở, my mouth and throat are dying of thirst that I can’t seem to quench as evidenced by my full belly! Nothing I eat or drink seems to take away that drying sensation. It all leads to one conclusion: THEREMUSTBEMSG. Possibly lots of it. :( Gonna try cocoa now…

It is hard to get Phở wrong. Well at least for a mexican. I pretty much cannot tell the difference between authentic or americanized phở. My Vietnamese friends are quick to tell me but the only frame of reference I go by is my taste buds. This Phở was absolutely delicious very comparable to Phở that you can find in Houston. The portions are large and it arrives piping hot with fresh veggie add ons! This place is definitely a great choice.

Bummed about the Thai tea deal that is often an occurrence almost anywhere that it’s sold, when you ask for light milk the cup is filled to a lesser amount. When this happens, I feel I should pay a lesser amount also.(after asking for the bill I realized they charged for a small, this sufficed.) read my mind it seems. The Bahn Mi looks good — I would prefer a little more filling for $ 6. The taste was average, nothing special. I didn’t care for some type of mayo or something that was spread on the sandwich. We could smell the phở broth from outside which was a good sign, or so we thought. The phở wasn’t as hot as we would have liked, but the flavor was great. Not watery. If it were HOT we agree it would have been more satisfying and better tasting. After all, Phở is a chilly /cold day or night go to. Wait service: An older woman asked how we were doing once throughout our whole meal. We asked for extra bowls to share the girl brought two without spoons ??? We were dining with a toddler and an infant no offer of a booster or highchair . Not very attentive it wasn’t a full house but enough people granted its close to closing time. For the duration of our meal they spent a good amount of time eating behind the register in plain view. Overall, the food the quality was good. H2O served was no Bueno makes me think about the broth . It was very average considering that Phở is everywhere out here, nothing to write home about or travel outside of Redmond for.

Just ate here for lunch today and I must say it was pretty good. The broth was very flavorful and the noodles were a good texture. A small phở was $ 7.95 and the fresh salad shrimp rolls were $ 4.95. They also don’t use MSG! Amazing… I would definitely come back. **The black tea milk tea with boba is yum!**

We went here last weekend because I have been dreaming about Vermicelli Noodles with Shrimp! We were already in the Bellevue area, so we looked up this place on Unilocal, and we are so glad we did! When we entered the place, it was clean and well kept. The ladies that greeted us were friendly and they promptly seated us and checked on us to see if we were ready to order. We ordered 2 appetizers(the fresh rolls and spring rolls), beef sandwich, the pork/prawn/spring roll vermicelli bowl, and taro bubble tea to share as a dessert. All the food was fantastic! Fresh, delicious, and they were so quick in bringing it all out. This was enough food for 2 adults and 2 small kids. We are planning to move out of state in a few months, but are already talking about coming here several more times before we move. Maybe next time we will order some Phở because it looks quite good. But either way, we will make our way back here. Service was awesome and so was the food! Can’t wait to be back again!

Great phở joint. Clean nice interior with tv and large enough for big group. They are located in convenient spot in Bellevue. My son and I ordered takeout. We each had the large Phở. One vegetable with tofu and the other chicken phở add vegetables. Deliciously seasoned broth with just the right amount of onions and dried garlic. The vegetables were broccoli, carrots, cabbage and sprouts. We had hot tea while we waited for the order that was very good. Price was $ 20. All and all a great spot. I know we will be back.
