This store is the WORST store I ever seen, assistant in store is rude and don’t even care what you want. RadioShack can never compare to Best Buy, I will never visit this store again.

Damien(the store manager) was rude, short answered and constantly tried to undermine my knowledge of electronics. I give this a 1 star rating purely based on the customer service that was provided by him. RadioShack can never compete with best buy, frys, newegg. When I go to RadioShack I expect outstanding customer service as there knowledge(not selection) is why I’m going. Getting rushed out of the store and getting short answers is not good customer service. I won’t ever go here again, unless it goes under new management.

Everything was disorganized when I walked in… product on the ground, no price tags on pegs that held products, etc. Oh, and did I mention the ice cubes on the ground right in front of the entrance? Seriously? No one cleaned those up. In a small store like this, I highly doubt the three people that worked there at the time I was visiting didn’t notice. I returned two days later for a return; same exact situation minus the ice cubes. Some barcode was missing from my receipt and I asked the employee if she could input my receipt information. The response? «Yes, I can, but it will take longer…» with a look on her face basically telling me that she doesn’t want to help me. There’s no doubt in my mind about why this company is struggling financially.

Went in here to buy a computer cable; tried to get sold an insurance policy on a $ 10 dollar cable 4 times; which is generally 2 times more than normal radioshack upsell protocol. Painfully obvious sales are slow here and extra credit apps/policy pushing is how this radioshack works as well as just bad customer service; «Do you want to buy an insurance plan on that?» «No.» «Would you like to donate a $ 1 to Susan G Koman cancer foundation?» No. «Are you sure you don’t want that insurance policy?» «Yes». then asked literally 1 more time after that; not kidding.

I arrived in this store tonight to look at options for LED’s for instrument cluster lighting upgrades. I’m a hobbyist, and knew what I needed. The store employee asks what if they could help. I said sure(what could go wrong?!?), LED version of this, holding a small candelabra(screw mount)12v bulb. They were hopeless, had no idea I asked for LED, then after waking them up, they suggested the LED’s were the wrong voltage for the application. I showed him a 12VLED from his tray of LEDs. He said he only had red in 12V. I showed him yellow. I suggested a resistor would solve for the other non 12VLED’s. Then they insisted since this was for a car then the soldering job would be dangerous in a car crash. I’m thinking this kid has had one too many red bulls today. At this point, I suggested mistakenly that heat shrink tubing would work fine and this isn’t a big deal. He kept on offering all of his advice moreso, when really at that point I just wanted to look at the products and think about it myself without having his ‘considerable’ expertise. I ask him to quit talking as it’s going nowhere. Please let me just look at the product. He stays there hovering. It’s just pointless. Concentration is gone and frustration begins to set in. I leave the store. They have no idea that Fry’s Electronics employees are better than this. I am ordering from the Internet since it’s argument free, shipping is low and tax is non-existent. Radio shack, please implode.

I walked into this store looking for a phone charger, either for a wall or my car. I saw a huge wall of them, but didn’t know which one worked for my phone. I looked around for someone who worked there, looked at the wall for a while again, looked around for someone who worked there, saw an older gentleman doing the same thing, looked around for someone who worked there; nothing. Finally, a woman and a man appeared from somewhere and seemed deep in conversation. The older gentleman stood in «line» behind the man, I stood in «line» behind the older gentleman; the woman who worked there flirted with the man who did not for so long without even acknowledging the two actual customers in the store. The older gentleman and I both walked out.
