Bad security, rude assuming drunk/​straight stereotype sad but true hate to say this on a slow Monday night. I will submit this to th press.

Been coming here since I turned 21. I’m 26 now. Love this place! Love the atmosphere and the bartenders. Don’t know their names, but the staff is friendly and easygoing. The drinks are strong and I love that it’s a gay bar that’s so close to me! I hate driving all the way to west Hollywood or long beach! This place is great and will continue to support it!

Went there for the first time last night. We walked in at 11:30pm and everyone was just standing still! Watching «Coyote Ugly» on the tv screens. Like i can’t even make that up lol. Not sure if that’s how it normally is on a Saturday night but it was whack. Left after 20 min. Drinks were inexpensive tho.

Flux is sexist. How does a bar, any bar, have one restroom for unisex and one is for men only? Either make them both unisex or man and women. Preferably unisex, it’s faster. People were cool, danced and had a fun dameaner. No cover is nice. But sexist! I guess there are more gay men than lesbian women. Said no one ever.

This place was SO MUCH FUN. I FINALLY went out with one of my good friends from work. We started the night at New Wave (see separate review), but we ended here, and this place was so much more fun. The people here are super friendly, the drinks are strong. There is not much room to dance or move around, but you don’t really go to a bar where you can dance and expect to have room to yourself. I absolutely loved it. I can’t wait to go back! The bouncers are super attentive, too. My friend drank a little too much and this bouncer kept coming to check on us once we were outside and waiting for our cab to make sure she was okay. Nice guy!

It’s been a while since I’ve been, but I have always felt so comfortable going. The bartenders make me feel good, and I am always greeted when I order my drink. The prices are very reasonable, and the security guards have always been sweet as pie to me. I love the free entrance, and ins and outs :-)

I’m not a huge fan on negative reviews but this place is a JOKE! I asked for a pineapple and vodka, I got pineapple juice and ice –_–
Their «drink specials» were all watered down. Not to mention a creepy, straight old man followed my friend and I around the whole 45mins we were there. The whole vibe of the place was creepy since there was about 30 people there. Music was good the time we were there. I will probably never go back.

Awesome bar! I’m there way too often. Tuesday night, they have $ 3 «YOU CALL IT,»
and it’s basically their busiest night next to Friday and Saturdays. Drink prices are totally reasonable, and you get even more for your money if you know their nightly drink specials. Wednesdays, all whiskey is $ 4 and Thursday, all vodka is $ 3. The bartenders are all really nice. Love talking to them at the beginning of the night before it gets busy. I don’t see how anyone with even DECENT bar etiquette could write a negative review about this place. Totally the best gay bar in the area. The atmosphere and the people there make me not want to go anywhere else, and I usually don’t. :D

At first it was ok coming here… don’t get too chummy with the bartenders cause they’ll ignore you for the rest of the night and serve other people that by at walked in the door. Worst place ever… would rather go to a straight bar. 0 stars in my opinion.

Good service. Different crowds. Tuesday happy hour is legit, probably the best day to go. Music starts off low and as the night progress more people will show up. I’d prefer to go earlier to miss the crowd. I’d go back. Oh, and a taco guy shows up around 10pm.

Came here a couple of months ago for a friend’s birthday. We waited in line for almost 30 minutes to order a drink only to be told by the bartender that «our bartender» would be with us in a minute. What the hell does that even mean? We were in line just like everyone else and now she tells us she’s not going to serve us?! Of course it all made sense when we saw that she had friends sitting at the bar and was talking to them and flirting with them and preferred to cater to them. We asked the other girl who was bartending if she could get us drinks because we had been waiting close to an hour now and she told us the same shit the other bartender had told us (that someone else would be with us in a minute). This was completely unacceptable so we left… and we were pissed!
All the hype about this place is a load of crap. If I could give this place ZERO stars, then I would!

Okay where do I start …
Great bartenders great inexpensive drinks that will do the job just off two drinks, I will recommend this bar to everyone and their momah!

This place is always awesome. Except one time on a Friday… It was practically dead… Weird. Other than that they have good drinks and good vibes! There are always a ton of super fun people and the Jell-​O shots!

Great local bar ! Would Totally Come Back

My friends and I were faced with a wait to get in to the New Wave Bar next door so we decided to grab some drinks here. I think a lot of people had the same idea, as we saw a lot of straight people who looked like refugees from the New Wave Bar as well, lol. It was also a rainy night, which I’m sure contributed to the crowding in the place. So while it was quite crowded, everyone was really nice and we were pleasantly surprised to discover their cheap drink prices! I got a couple of standard cocktails for me and my friend and I think it was like $ 8. Forrrrealzzz? OK, so they weren’t the stiffest drinks I’ve had, but they were decent. It’s a pretty good-​sized place, with a long bar and a bunch of tall tables and chairs. There was one pool table and a juke box. When it got to be like around 11:30 or so they moved the pool table over to the side, presumably to create a dance floor? We took off soon after so I didn’t get to see, but if so, that would’ve been cool.
STEPH JUDGEMENT: A cool, chill gay bar with great drink prices!

Tuesday nights its the place to be. Great drink prices! $ 3 all drinks. Not a bad deal. Busy and good music. And of course Friday and Saturday is good.
Fun vibe and a good place to dance.
Parking may be a little difficult if you come later but there’s always plenty of parking on the streets near by. Just DON’T park at Norms across the street-​they have security. Park on the street.
No need to go to WeHo. Good place close by home. :)

Beer is flat. They take forever for a water down drink. Bartenders spend more time staring at their damn kiosk than pouring drinks. Whack ass service. Better off walking next door to the liquor store and buying a six pack. Even that guy smiles back.
Tip?.. Yeah. There are lines to get drinks. Respect them.

My friend Decided to have his birthday party at flux. I had never been there before so I didn’t know what to expect.
Pro’s
–Thursday nights have no cover which is a good thing
— All vodka including top self is 3 $ on Thursday nights. Grey goose and cranberry for 3 $ sounds like a good deal to me.
–Heavy pours I was buzzed after the first drink. Which is ALWAYS a good thing
— The dj was pretty good. We were on the outside patio and could still hear the music.
— I almost forgot to add. There was a guy going around giving samples of vodka. My favorite part.
Cons
–parking SUCKED! The parking lot is tiny so I had to park on the street.
Only con over all a really cool bar to check out.
