Chicken sandwich was good first time second time was pretty bad and very plain. Hamburger wasn’t good and pretty burnt. Honestly probably won’t go back I’ve had better elsewhere.

This place definitely deserves five stars! From their basic teriyaki bowls to their fusion tacos, their food never disappoints. If you go, their KooKoo Fries are a MUST and you can order it with the choice of beef or chicken… or BOTH. I’m always KooKoo for KooKoo grill! One of the best stops in Bellflower!

I really enjoy this place. There’s so much to choose from, everything is seriously wild in your mouth. I guess that’s why its«fusion». I had an interesting wrap and I would definitely be back. Not a place for vegans or vegetarians. Go crazy and try everything…

Love this place! Whether I get tacos, teriyaki, fries, or whatever it is, it’s finger licking good!!! They finally got more employees, because they use to be rather slow. Especially the drive thru! I was so devastated to find out they were no longer making boba/smoothies/similar drinks. I loved their caramel mocha that kept me up all night :(lol The place is very clean, cooks are rather fast, and service is good :)

KooKoo grill is a great place to eat for lunch and dinner. The service is quick and they have a drive-through. The food looks healthy and they have some food here for your treat meal if you’re into nutrition. I just met the owner he’s very professional and very well-dressed. If you’re in Bellflower California come by KooKoo grill and grab a bite to eat. This is BillyBow Visionary & Publisher of FitnessX Magazine.

Deluxe chicken burrito is legit. Koo koo balls are a must. I always get the 3pc and never make it home with them. Been coming here for a few months, always Togo, and I am more impressed with each new item I try. It’s what I expect and a little more for my money. It’s a great value imo. Teri fish is great. I get the med Togo and make a small salad at home Final tip. If ur not too lazy save gas if ur thinking about the drive thru. It’s not super fast food(as expected) so the waits are much longer compared to the likes of Mcdonalds.

We picked up a to-go order of some beef & chicken combos with brown rice, popcorn chicken, and KooKoo fries at this KooKoo Grill on our way to our friends’ place, and everyone was really happy with the food, which was enough to to feed four hungry adults. The prices also were really reasonable for the amount and quality of the food. Whenever we’re in a hurry for some good, inexpensive food-to-go in Bellflower, we definitely will stop by at KooKoo Grill Teriyaki.

Kookoo fries packs a ton of fries and meat, enough to feed my girlfriend and I. It has a so much flavor, and the popcorn chicken was fantastic but they were more like mini chicken tenders. A great place for a quick meal but still a flavorful and satisfying one.

I’ve been in the Bellflower area for a while now and after reading Unilocal reviews, I finally decided to give this place a try. It’s in the intersection of Alondra Blvd & Woodruff Ave. This is definitely a little hole in the wall place. It’s a great fusion between Mexican and Japanese food. When I went, I decided to try the KooKoo balls(after reading some Unilocal suggestions), the KooKoo fries and the Popcorn chicken, all for $ 17. It’s a reasonable price considering the amount they give you, it’s pretty worth it. I was surprised at the size of the KooKoo fries, it was in like a mini cake box, the fries itself were in a taco shell instead of just being on a regular plate or styrofoam container. The fries were a little bit spicy and it was topped with fries, tomatoes, thousand island(similar to that of In-N-Out animal fries sauce) and your choice of meat, either chicken or beef, or half and half. It’s definitely good for about 1 – 3 people depending on how hungry you are. The KooKoo balls were kind of similar to Porto’s potato balls, but instead it’s a deep fried sesame ball, consisting of rice on the outside and on the inside is teriyaki chicken, the sauce that comes with it is spicy as well. With just 2 or 3, it can fill you up already. Lastly I tried the Popcorn chicken, I thought it’d be similar to the little popcorn chicken I’m use to ordering in most places but it’s actually more like mini chicken strips, which was awesome! Overall this place was great and you should definitely give it a try if ever you’re in the Bellflower area. The only downside was when I went to the drive thru, I waited a little longer than usual, but it’s understandable considering the things I ordered. It was well worth the wait because everything was nice and hot. Will definitely come back & try the other things on the menu!

Go for the koo koo balls! These are deep fried sesame seed balls stuffed with teriyaki chicken. They’re pretty tasty, and a few of them can fill you up fast. We also tried their chicken and beef fusion tacos, but were very disappointed. I thought they were bland and boring for tacos that incorporate Mexican and Japanese influences. We also tried their koo koo fries. It is served in a large taco shell topped with beef, green onions, cheese, and thousand island dressing. It tastes similar to animal fries from In N Out, but not as good… their version is on the colder side. Overall, fast and friendly service. There’s also a drive thru as well. If I were to visit again, I would probably go with the koo koo balls.

I came here with my family after a dentist appt. looking at the food on Unilocal it seemed very interesting When u first walk in, it looks like a typical fast food chinese place. We go almost koo everything. The kookoo fries, kookoo rice balls, and a half chicken half beef kookoo wrap(which looks like a very thick quesadilla) The food has a little bit of a kick to it because of their house sauce(koo koo sauce) which was very good! Loved that it went with everything The kookoo fries were huge. It had cheese and chicken over fries in a wonton bowl and other things but i cant remember what else was on it. Very good! The kookoo balls were basically fries rice balls with filling. Its crispy on the outside and a little soft on the inside. The wrap was like a very thick quesadilla. U have to option of chicken or beef(on anything) but we went with half and half, it had rice, lettuce, cheese, avocado, and the spicy sauce. This was one of my favorites! The ingredients go very well together and it all had so much flavor. The lady who helped us at the register was very nice and so helpful. It is a bit far from where i live, but i must come back here again! These fusion places are just getting better and better

I have to give this place 5 stars! Coming in feeling welcome and this place is so clean. While ordering the server was really kind and sweet! I believe she was the manager, but either way she was really sweet! Also while ordering another server came up with tacos! Chicken and beef and they both were good. Won my heart by free food and tacos! I ordered the KooKoo Fries and my girl ordered the chicken and beef bowl. The fries were bomb, I almost finished it and the bowl was great as well! I can tell the customers love the place because before they left they came up to the counter and said bye. All the workers said bye and that’s when you know this place gives great service! Will be coming back for more!

Great teriyaki fusion spot near Cerritos College unfortunately it is not in walking distance or I would be there every day between classes. I have been here twice once with my sister and the second time with my wife and both ladies loved the food. The first time I ate inside before class and the food was really good and the location was pretty clean. It was kind of empty but we did come at an off time. The second visit was through the drive through and they got my order right and served me in less than 2 minutes. But again I came on an off time and there was only one car ahead of me. I hope this place has more business on other times because I really enjoyed this place but I really want to try the rest of the menu but I only get to visit during school. Oh yeah try the KooKoo fries and the balls.

Y’all KooKoo for Cocoa Puffs Sadly, I didn’t have the mind blowing experience everyone else had here. I even brought my mind blowing helmet. Maybe it was the extreme hype, maybe it was the long drive to get there, maybe it was getting there off hours and being the only customers at 2pm, who knows, maybe it was the food… who cares, I was a Trix kid anyways. Lil’ Jon’s favorite Lyric It was«oKkaYyYYyY». For once I didn’t order half the menu, I’m getting a big belly and need to jump on that P90X if I keep continue eating like this. KooKoo balls were fried way too long and the«crispy» rice was rock hard literally getting stuck in my teeth like little seeds. The burrito was good then it gets better towards the bottom where all the juice flows and all the flavors merge. Fug. That’s good just like the end of a Chipotle burrito, present for you.

I drive from LA to Riverside quite often, and I have recently started looking for new places to eat in between. I stumbled upon this place recently, and had to try one of their«kookoo balls». I ended up arriving in time to order some lunch. I ordered a kookoo ball and a chicken teriyaki bowl. My food came and I looked at the kookoo ball and found it really interesting. It reminded me of Porto’s famous potato balls, but not really because of the ingredients, but because they were both famous«balls of food». The kookoo ball had a fried rice exterior that enveloped teriyaki chicken among other things like sriracha sauce. Overall, i enjoyed it, and could have eaten several more. I learn proceeded to try the teriyaki chicken, which was plated, or rather bowled nicely. They also provided extra teriyaki, and spicy teriyaki sauce along with it. The teriyaki chicken was pretty good too. Overall I really enjoyed this place, and it’s interesting how they are an Asian fusion place, and they have koo koo fries which I really would like to try next time I stop by. This place is pretty solid and I recommend trying it if you’re passing by or in the area.

I tried the half & half(chicken/beef) burrito, and it is definitely a Japanese/Mexican fusion. It reminded me of a sushi roll(especially the rice part) with taco flavor AND teriyaki — everything conveniently put together in one flour tortilla to make an out-of-this-world burrito. I could only finish half in one sitting, and saved the rest for later. I’m excited to try the Koo Koo Fries next; it reminds me of animal fries from In & Out, but 10 times crazier. I“ll need to bring a friend to attack that one. They have plenty of seating inside that is great for groups and families to dine in. Private parking lot is available, but small. A drive thru is also available for a quick togo meal. I’ll definitely be returning to this place for more.
