Best property management company I have ever worked with! I rented almost a dozen places before we bought our first house and this was the by far the best. We rented a house from them and Jill was always very helpful, Dennis their handyman is very professional and if he can’t fix your property they will send the right professional for your issue right away. They are very reasonable on all issues and they will never try to take advantage of you. Many property management paces will neglect to make repairs and treat you like they will help you at their convenience, not this company. If you are renting or looking for someone to manage your property consider preferred property management, they served us well for years.

Some of the previous negative reviews are very confusing to us(my husband & I) because we’ve had nothing but positive experiences & interactions(going on four years) with Preferred Property Management. Jill has been kind & helpful from the very beginning when searching for a rental home in 2012. We were pressed to find a place quickly and Jill went above & beyond for us, even working off hours to help us. Our dealings with Jill, Dennis, Wendy & Gary have ALL been professional, positive, matter of fact– They’ve also shown us to be very prompt and efficient. Communication has been simple. They’ve never been hard to reach via phone and they’ve always returned calls promptly. They are there to help/fix anything if/when needed– They check things over, answer questions, address any concerns, change the batteries of the fire alarms during each yearly inspecton… We honestly think they’re great! And we have nothing but positive to say about them. After seeing some of the other reviews, I had to get mine onboard & share our experience~

I have known this gentle lady for over 30 years. She is very knowledgeable and best of all she always has her clients best interest FIRST. Her clients are her raving fans, not to mention her vendors! They are loyal to her and her clientele because she pays them promptly, so when they are called into action they respond quickly. Which saves money, big time. It has been my great honor to refer clients to her over the years and always know they will be well taken care of. Never a complaint.

I am a property owner doing business with Preferred Property Management and I have nothing but good experiences. They are very knowledgeable, fair, and responsive. I get calls back on a timely manner. Whenever repairs or issues come up they are handled quickly. I would definitely recommend them. They do an awesome job!

This management doesn’t even deserve one star. I am completely mind-boggled on the incompetency and lack of professionalism from these people. THEYDONOTANSWERTHEIRPHONESEVER. In this day and age of cell phones, WTH! I don’t get it. I spoke to these people and coordinated a day and time to see the place. I called to confirm and spoke to them about 45 minutes prior to getting there where it was indicated to me to call when I arrived so that they can disclose the lock box information. I get there and call. No answer so I leave a message. 8 minutes later I call again. No answer so I leave a 2nd message. I waited an additional 10 minutes and left only to receive a call 49 minutes after my last message. Seriously, WTH is wrong with these people. I don’t even get a sincere apology. Instead I got«we got preoccupied, so you want to see the house?» Really? WTH is wrong with these people. Although I would have likely rented the place, the fact that I would have to deal with this management group was the deciding factor. There’s no way I’d want to deal with these people again. Can you just imagine if after having rented the place and I called them in an emergency where a water pipe broke or something happened and they simply didn’t answer their phones and/or had any urgency to do their job. My guess is that whoever hired them has no clue what they got into bed with. So sad.

Wow… what a team of idiots… i normally don’t write reviews very often but Jill and Karen are by far the rudest and most unprofessional team I have ever dealt with. They advertised a property and when you call to try to see the property they are completely incompetent. We made an appointment to see the home confirmed the appointment 30 minutes before arrival. Jill told is to call when we had arrived at the home so she could give us the combo got the lock box. Here is where it all went wrong. WE as the people who want to rent the home called to confirm our appointment 30 mins prior to meeting(having made arrangements to leave work early) We arrived on time and called Jill… she did not answq so we left a message. We waited 10 mins and called her again and left another message. Then again 10 mins later… no answer She finally calls back well after an hour after our appt time. Obviously we are no longer waiting at the home. She finally calls me 4 days after the day we were supposed to see the home and I returned her call the next day. And she has the nerve to give me attitude saying she threw my info away because my friend said she didn’t like the home… when we didn’t even get to see it. So I told her that she didn’t get to see it because she never answered the phone… her response was… well I called her back… what the hell is wrong with this lady? Are you kidding me? We called to confirm our appt and she confirms and then has an attitude about it? Then she proceeds to tell me she called me 4 times before leaving a message… now i know she is lying. Having been a realtor myself and having done property management as well, I have to say she is by far the most incompetent and rude person I have ever spoken to. She then tells me she has an application in now so I can no longer go see the house but I can call back tomorrow to see if the other application was accepted… I asked her if she could call me if it was still available… what was her answer? I threw your information away so you can call back and check. Jill’s attitude is one of a diva… she thinks that we are here to do her work for her… she talks down to ppl and is completely disrespectful I would give her no stars if possible. 1. Terrible service 2. Incompetent and rude property manager(JILL) 3. Completely unprofessional(BOTH) 4. Disrespectful(JILL) 5. Falsely advertising a property. She shows pictures of a nice kitchen with a stove, dishwasher and no fridge… when you see the home… there is no stove and then we are told we need to go and buy one 6. How can any homeowner be ok with lazy managers that just give the combo to the lock box to anyone who calls? 7. As a landlord myself, I would never hire these two even if they were the last property management service on earth Terrible people, terrible service… they need to go work for the DMV… lol…

Have to edit my review with an update since my last entry. Had I known the delay in handling my repair request was due to the owner being out of town perhaps I would not have been so hasty with my review of PRM. The owner has come by now on two occasions to handle the repairs needed on the home and PRM has been more than willing to coordinate these visits. If you’re thinking of working with PRM I highly recommend you contact Jill directly if you want quick action.

I was a renter and this company represented the property. They were a pain to deal with!!! They are always quick to ask for their money but anytime I’ve had a problem with the place, they dragged their feet. Had to call many times just to get a return call. Example, one winter the heater went out. They suggested to make an appointment with the gas company, which we did, but they had nothing available for a month. Reported this back to the company and nothing happened. It wasn’t until I told them that I wasnt going to pay the rent and report the place uninhabitable to the city, before they did something about it. Of all the places I’ve lived at, this company is by far the worst I’ve ever ran across.
