I like the location and 3 pool tables, shuffle boards, karaōke every night, the low of this dive is the crabby moody old lady bartender, she ignores everyone and when you order it’s as if you’re bothering her LOL!

Local bar with neighborhood charm. Best shuffleboard tables in all the land (Thanks Jeff and Tom). 4 well kept pool tables, Darts and Pinball. The drinks are strong and cheap (Thanks Claudia, Illiana, and the Forld Famous Mama Bear!). They offer Karaōke 7 nights a week starting at 8. It keeps the joint rockin! (Shouts to KJ’S B-​Moody, Melle Mel, and Ez Eric). Overall the place is cool. My only negative is the general condition of the place. I needs to be freshened up and cleaner, especially the Men’s Room when Tom isnt working. That’s why I couldn’t go five stars.

The bartender was this older brunette lady that was taking a while to acknowledge my presence and when she did she wasn’t friendly or polite. we came on karaōke night and the lady moody was moody as heck. She was being rude on the mic and kept skipping people/​and or didn’t tell you if the song you requested she didn’t have. Overall these two chicks sucked.

Had so much fun the last time I visited this spot! The bartender Claudia is a great singer ! The sound system is amazing !!! 5 stars

The lady bartender sucks. We had to wait for like 20 minutes just to close out. She doesn’t even smile at all like she’s pissed.

Not my kind of spot but it’s some ones has pool tables and karaōke. There’s a lady who singsong of the time. Kind of an oldish atmosphere, quiet. They do watch games here.

Must say I had good X’s last night. I finally found a bar that has good Karaōke and lots of fun things to do. LOVE this spot they had pool tables, shuffle boards, darts, arcades, pinball machines and great music selection for karaōke… It’s always good when they have good bar tenders and excellent service. Must say I will going back to this spot for sure.

This spot has the best shuffle board tables around. The atmosphere is a bit seedy, drinks are cheap, music is load, cocktail waitresses are hustling… nothing else is needed at a bar.

This is one of the few nighttime establishments where you can come in dressed in any type of clothing. The Royal Room is a dive bar that caters to locals as well as those looking for something to do after work or to just hang with a group of friends. The unique part about this bar is that it opens at 6am for those that work graveyard shifts. They will let you go in and out. There are outlets for you to plug your phone in if you run out of juice. There are pool tables, arcades, shuffle boards, places to sit. There is parking in the lot and on the street. Karaōke is decent but song selection must keeup with the times. The bathroom are fine but not easily accessible. Drinks were priced reasonably. The clientele is mainly working class or those looking to spend time with their friends. If you are looking for high class people dressed to impress, this is NOT the place for you. The Royal Room caters to those who are laid back, down to earth and chill. When you come here, you feel like family. This places caters to people in their late 30’s/early 40’s and above. If you are in your 20’s you can still have fun and enjoy yourself pressure free but make sure you bring friends with you. Not really a place for eye candy or anything extra. If you are hungry make sure you grab a bite to eat before you come. FYI there is a King Taco off Lakewood and Alondra as well as a Subway and Taqueria Mexico. If you want something more fancy and top notch you’re better off in Long Beach, Fullerton, Anaheim or Buena Park. Keep in mind that Bellflower is strictly working class and this establishment holds up to Bellflower’s mom and pop tradition.

Favorite dive bar around. cheap STRONG drinks. Karaōke selection is the best around. Been coming here for years and will continue to do so. Dusty Angel

This bar is totally not what it used to be. The tweaker rate has definitely gone up in numbers. They even have a bulldog with a mullet that frequently goes to the bathroom to do lord knows what. She has on several occasions attacked customers. They have bartenders that don’t wear bras but it’s not the sight you want see. The age of the bartender doesn’t matter but please classy it up. They do have a few good people who work there. But everyone else sucks. They seriously need a bar and people rescue up in that place! Forget a bar rescue they need a bar miracle.

This is not the place to if you want friendly service… But it is if you don’t want service at all. My first time here with a friend, and was appalled at the service, or lack there of. You practically have to beg the non attentive bartender, then after she tells you to wait for the fifth ot sixth time, she glares at you and takes your order. Then… After 10 minutes, still no drink? Really? It makes me wonder if the owner even pays attention to all the money he is not making. Sadly, I was there for a few hours, ordered 3 drinks, and only got one. Way to go if you don’t want repeat customers. If I could, I wouldn’t give any stars. I was not the only one… There were several people complaining about the same problem. To top it off, there were less than 10 – 15 people there at the bar. Never again, I’d rather go somewhere else where I can get a drink.

I am here once a week. Drinks are cheap and strong. No need to dress up to come here. Locals bar. Regulars know each other by name. Older crowd. Not the fanciest place but it gets the job done.

I just started going to bars recently, and I am now familiar with what a dive bar is.
If you like Karaōke, cheap drinks, and pool, this is the right place. I was surprised to read all the negative comments about this place. Im in my 30s but i took some people in their 20s and they had a blast! ‘The crowd is older, 40s 50s but they mind their own business and are welcoming. The lady that does the Karaōke is fun as hell. She keeps it real. Rachael, a bartender is a sweet heart. Only downfalls I can think of is that there is no food or booths, just stools and tables. If you want a bar where you are going for a fun time and not to impress anyone, this is the spot.

What was I doing here (way back in the day)… I went here because a few of my co workers after work wanted to get a brew. I gotta say, it was not my scene or my type of bar (ever), however… I did enjoy myself! Seeing people attempt to perform karaōke and the drinks are very cheap. I got buzzed quickly. Everyone is friendly and minds their own bussiness. All and All, I do recommend!

Yes, it’s a little ghetto but in that really really good way. It’s the character of the place. Lots of billiard tables, some arcade games (the good ones like Bust A Move and 1945), and decent karaōke. I’ve had several evenings where I bought the drinks for 3 people for the entire night and my bill was no more than $ 40 – 50. REALLY CHEAP DRINKS, and no, they do not skimp on the alcohol.
The patrons of this place are an unusual group. Again, this adds to the character of the place.
If you are an aficionado of dive bars, this is a great one.

I love this place. I work graveyard all week so this bar opens at 6am which is perfect for my schedule. The bar is completely chill they have a decent selection of drinks and their prices are very nice with this economic situation. I recommend this place if you wanna get a drink play some pool and maybe some arcade games. Enjoy.
