Bellingham’s DOL office out by Cordata is awesome, I’ve never experienced such fast service at a government agency office… but this storefront DOL on Lakeway is just as fast! It is much smaller but i went in to renew my vehicle tabs and was done in 5 minutes. This shop charges the same fees as the regular DOL, so I’m not sure how they make money but they are hella convenient so I’m a fan!

Who relishes going to governmental departments? There’s usually a queue that looks like a pretzel, a sea of people with only a few clerks, and the folks further ahead in line seem to have brought their most complicated questions and debacles that day. My experience at Bellingham Auto Licensing is 180 degrees different. The location is odd (a strip mall) but they’re off a main drag (easy access). The office is small (not even a chair to sit in) but the clerks are super fast and know their business. I’ve not been stuck in a queue. In and out in a flash. This place is a hidden treasure for folks needing these services.
