Highway 542-Go

It’s rare to find a food truck that offers a wide variety of foods, but it’s even more rare to find a food truck that offers a wide variety of foods that are all delicious and well prepared.
So far I have had the Philly Cheesesteak, the Phad Thai sandwich, and the falafel sandwich and all of them were great. Their fries are amazing too! I don’t know what they do but they are always the perfect combo of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
Staff has always been very friendly and attentive. You can tell they like what they do by how they treat their customers!

Wonderful food. We had ours on coleslaw instead of as a sandwich. Very healthy and yummy. And the cook/​server was friendly and helpful. We will be back.

Excellent. Truck was at wander brewing. We shared poutine, beer box, and hummus platter. Every thing was great. Friendly service.

This was the second time the guy was short with me when taking my order, only this time when I received my burger it was raw on the inside, not rare, but raw… :(
When I found my burger was raw, there was a line of 7 people ordering and I didn’t have time to wait for him to make it right, being he was the only only working. Probably won’t be going back anytime soon.
I’d like to point out that I am very friendly when ordering and dislike very much when someone is rude to the people making and serving food. I make a point to be nice, and even tip generously when I can afford it.

Wow. Came to Wander Saturday for some brews. Ordered pizza but had some «hangry» individuals who needed to eat! Ordered a massive plate of their French fries topped with pulled pork, cheddar cheese, and onions. Came to is in a huge shallow bowl with 6 forks jabbed on top, very casual for the scarfing that was about to take place. This wasn’t a case of I’m so hungry so anything tastes good… this food was delicious. The fries, made in house or store bought I don’t know, were delicious. They had a great seasoning and I believe were battered or just had a thick seasoning coating on them. They were hot, tender, crisp on the outside and delicious. In the center was a big pile of wonderfully sweet, smoky, pulled pork. Very tender and flavorful, the sauce was just how I like it, thick with a great depth of flavor, not bland, tomatoey or overly smokey. All this topped with cheddar cheese and diced onion and a side of ketchup, it was heaven. All I needed maybe was some sour cream and a few chopped green onions. Will definitely be visiting wander again… and most likely on a Saturday when this trucks around.

Always great friendly service and awesome fresh food. I’ve tried their pinky pork sandwich and the philly steaz steak and both were really good. Their french fries are the best french fries I have ever eaten. They use a seasoning on them that I’ve never seen elsewhere but it is delicious. The people who work there are polite and friendly and the trailer always looks clean. The only critique I can offer is that they’re usually sold out of a few things on the menu but that is to be expected with such a small facility. 542-​Go has quickly become one of my favorite lunch spots in Bellingham.

Saturdays they are located at Wander Brewery– get the Beer Box special– fries or tots covered with pulled pork, onions and cheese. Goes great with the Wee Heavy from Wander Brewery!
