We’ve eaten in a couple times and had delivery several times(which is great!) and Rudy’s has previously been hit or miss. Tonight was a definite HIT! To start, Tim, who took our order, was VERY nice. He was kind and detailed, and took the time to re-read us our order to ensure it was correct. Delivery took about 45 minutes, which is a longer than it usually does, but not too long in my opinion. Our pizza was delicious! Wheat thin crust, vegan cheese, potato, spinach, and mushrooms. YUM! Thanks Rudy’s! And special thanks Tim!

I’d say 2.5 stars. Maybe 3, considering they deliver for free. The pizza was pretty ok, about the same quality as the frozen kind you buy at the grocery store. The high point for me was the toppings — decent flavor, pretty tasty. The downfall, however, was the crust. Ohhh, the crust. The crust tasted like the pre-fab, already cooked one that you buy at the grocery store and then put toppings on and heat up. It was dense, dry but not crispy, and bland… Kind of similar to an english muffin? A good crust I feel should be a little crispy on the outside, but chewy and soft and fresh tasting on the inside. The crust was just really terrible. Probably one of the worst I’ve ever had, which was really a shame because the people there were really very nice, and the free delivery is such a nice perk. Granted, I am used to the east coast, New York style pizza(and east coasters are pretty serious about their pizza), so I am a little of bit spoiled. But if you are used to really good pizza, you will probably not like Rudy’s. If it were cheaper, then it might be worth it, but my large pizza was about 20 $.

Went to Rudy’s with a few friends after moving up here for school. We were looking for something convenient and affordable downtown for the four of us. When you go in the atmosphere is nice, has a similar vibe to most of the other downtown more college student faring joints. Prices seamed relatively average for the pizza. We ended up getting something that everyone liked being a pepperoni pizza. The pizza we got came out timely. Maybe im a little harsh with a 1 star but this was about the most disappointing pizza ive had from somewhere that is not a chain. Was very much like a freezer pizza too me. Crust tasted and had the texture like they just used premade frozen crusts, which also made it look rather plain. Everything else on it seamed low grade as well. I would have been happier and spent a quarter the money by picking up a decent freezer pizza and cooking it myself. I wont eat here again unless im out drinking at the up&up and dont care what i eat.

I’ve only had the vegan Mama Rudy, but it is AMAZING. Their vegan cheese is melty and wonderful, the crust is perfect, and the sauce and veggies combine to make me a very happy veggie, OH and they deliver. I HIGHLY recommend.

Ordered Pizza for delivery while moving my son into college. Pizza lacked in topping and crust was too doughy and thick for me. The driver who delivered the pizza I am pretty sure was a medicinal herb patient… not that is bad but damn… watched him drive past the dorm 3 times. With such other good places to order from, doubt that I will get again.

I’m sorry — I did NOT like this pizza, like at all.(which is too bad too because my dining partner talked it up big time). The sauce was too sweet, the crust tasted stale, the cheese is on top of the toppings which normally is fine but the sauce combined with the pepperoni, and then cheese made the entire pizza a slippery mess. The bread sticks also tasted stale. The people working though were really nice though so they have that going for them.

Good pizza, great prices, really excellent service. The service alone warrants a 5 star review. Super friendly and helpful. Check out the specials!

We order pizza from here once every couple of weeks. Today they decided that they don’t deliver to my address anymore. I wonder if the owner is aware they are making silly business decisions. All the young lady said is we don’t deliver there(we are 4 miles away). I explained we have been ordering pizza there for over a year and never was told that. I got a «well we don’t deliver there» the pizza is average at best and it’s one redeeming quality was thin crust and the fact they delivered when most don’t. Take delivery away and you are left with an average pizza with bland sauce and nothing unique. If you have to dine in… there are way better places to go rather than Rudy’s. Short sighted Rudy’s.

I am a pizza diehard, previous east coaster metropolitan. it was a regular part of my diet, and then I moved here. Bellingham is a pizza desert. I’ve been here more than a dozen times and my impressions have been consistent for both pros and cons. Pros: Great location, later hours, ambience of whimsical colorful people and solid wooden slab tables. Great to get a beer on tap and see bellingham come and go. Staff is friendly. Great for groups and families. Cookies are no. 2 in Bellingham(falling just behind Goat Mountain Pizza’s salted chocolate chip) for size, chewiness, and heft. Only $ 1.50! Cons: The crust is dry, tasteless and brittle. Toppings are on the sparse side. This pizza is one half step up from frozen cardboard pizza, except three times the price. Salads are pedestrian, unimaginative with iceberg lettuce. This is B’ham, we can handle dark greens. Overall: I come here because it’s local, open later than most, for beer, casual and funky atmosphere. I choke down the pizza with several glasses of water. The environment suggests tasty and creative food, but is quite the opposite. I beg you, for all those needing a dependable pizza joint in Bellingham, upgrade the recipe.

My husband said it was the worst pizza he has ever had. The gf Pizza I had wasn’t bad. Meh. It’s always hit or miss with pizza but he asked that I post this review.

As newcomers to Bellingham, we wanted to order a pizza. Our first thought was to try Fiamma Pizza(cuz we like Fiamma Burger) but we found out they don’t deliver. Rudy’s was our second choice(after perusing Unilocal). We ordered a pineapple and jalepeno pie and specified thin crust. Overall, I didn’t like it very much. Thank god we ordered thin crust because it wasn’t very think. I can’t imagine getting the regular version(I hate thick crust). My main complaint is that you can tell they use cheap cheese. That ruins a pizza, in my opinion. It was just kind of bland tasting. I don’t think we’ll be ordering from here again.

It’s okay. The pizza is just okay. The prices are okay but that not fair for what you get. More toppings more of a rip off. What fun is that? Pizza should of been cooked longer.

The service at Rudy’s is really good, the restaurant is totally cool, and the location is excellent. The pizza itself is just not very good at all. The crust is thick, doughy, and chewy. The toppings and the way the pizza is cut usually seems like it was done without care. It’s just boring pizza. Boring expensive pizza.

Rudy’s is far superior to any large brand pizza delivery place in terms of their quality and selection of ingredients, but as far as negatives they skimp on the toppings a lot of the time as well as their various sauces… I would definitely recommend ordering a thin crust pizza as if you order the regular thickness combined with the lack of sauce and toppings you will find it dried to the point of being inedible… There is also a maddening inconsistency when it comes to phone orders… sometime sauces cost extra sometimes they don’t… sometimes they want you to have the coupon and most times you can just mention the deal… Great selection of ingredients and free delivery make this place a standout, it just feels like management is trying to pinch pennies right out of their own pocket by being cheap

Extremely overpriced for what you get. The service is friendly and fast when you pop in to grab a carry-out, but the product is lacking! I’ve been here several times and never gotten an order right. Either the size is wrong, they’re missing toppings(and once, added toppings I couldn’t eat(meat))! The way the mishaps have been handled was irritating, almost never an apology and when I paid for a medium and got a small, they gave me store credit. I would have preferred a refund, but the woman ignored me when I said that! I ordered the Daiya cheese because I’m vegan and when I mentioned no cheese the woman suggested it. I would NOT suggest it; better to go with extra pizza sauce than the cheese. It felt like eating old nacho cheese, which is fine for nachos but not for a $ 20 pizza. I said I really didn’t like it and the woman just shrugged. What should happen when an employee suggests something and the customer doesn’t like it should be a different pizza… I had only had one slice). Not a fan of how the employees handle orders-gone-wrong(which has happened during every one of mine), and the pizza is overpriced for the quality. Bottom Line: Go down the street, there’s another pizza place for the same price but better pizza.

Good, kind if greasy, VERY cheesy, cracker like crust. If you like garlic be prepared to smell like it for the rest of the day.

Rudy’s is awesome because they have quality pizza and they have free delivery. They have an odd menu, but it is definitely delicious. Sometimes the food can leave me a bit upset, but to my comrades with an iron stomach, I’m sure the millimeter thick layer of cheese will sit just fine. Think: cheesy. I’m a fan of the taco pizza, extra beans. It’s messy and will give you gas, but is, in my humble opinion, the tastiest option on the menu. Plus. sometimes farting can be funny, right? Get the party started! Quality! If you’re feeling lazy and want pizza, call up Rudy’s and let them handle dinner for you.

I went to Rudy’s on the recommendation of a friend who absolutely loves this place. I wasn’t as thrilled as she… What went wrong: 1. The gluten free crust is only available in a size small. 2. The salsa on the mexican pizza is from a jar 3. It’s kind of dirty in there 4. WAY too much cheese even though I asked them to go light on the cheese. I know, I know, who wants«light» cheese on a pizza. Well, I do. 5. After 2 small slices, I felt incredibly sick. Like, immediately. 6. After you spend $ 40 on pizza, you are expected to clear your own dishes 7. Limited menu options What went right: 1. Service was prompt and the food arrived at our table quickly 2. The flavor of the pizza is pretty good! 3. They serve gluten free beer(I didn’t try any, but this is a fabulous option for GF peeps) 4. The giant chocolate chip cookies look amazeballs 5. The crust was thin and crispy Will I be back? I don’t know. I’m leaning towards no — feeling sick immediately after I eat is kind of deal breaker for me and this doesn’t happen often, so I’m taking it as a sign to not eat here again. I’m still giving Rudy’s 3 stars because despite everything, the pizza still tasted good. PS — There are tons of kids in this place. They are loud.

This is probably my favorite pizza place ever. When I first started coming here(like five years ago), I was vegan, and appreciated all of the options they have! I’m just vegetarian now, so I get their regular pizza, and it’s always delicious. They also have really great(GIANT) cookies. The one thing I wish they did differently — I wish they had the cookies available regularly. More often than not, they don’t have any cookies when I go in. It’s probably better for me that way, but I still really like them… :)
