We have been going to Phở and Thai for about 8 years now. We used to live in Belmont, 5 years ago moved to Lexington and still the only Thai food we will get is Phở and Thai. Over the years, we have tried many different places but always find ourselves coming back. We not luckily have a business nearby, so Phở and Thai is on our way home :) Great service, they are always very nice, friendly and helpful. Food is amazing! The best thing is that they have so many vegetables in all their dishes! I am a nutritionist and love bringing my kids to this place for a great healthful. Other places give you a few peas and a carrot, and if you ask for more it is barely noticeable at an extra charge. Phở and Thai though has plenty of fresh veggies in every dish. If you need to substitute due to a dietary preference, or an allergy they are always super helpful and accommodating. Just love this place!

Sorry to say but this this place disappointed me. I was craving some delicate Thai deliciousness and instead got anything but. The beef skewers we ordered as appetizers were grotesquely huge and looked like burnt insoles, the dumplings were good but alas a bit cold, and the crispy pad that was way too sweet, I couldn’t really taste anything but the noodles. Didn’t need dessert after that. Only the Tom Yum soup is recommendable. I defintely suggest they refine their portions and cooking style.

we have been here plenty of times when my family comes to visit from NYC, my brother loves their Thai iced tea, and I love it as well. Food is fresh and they give you a good amount, we usually end up taking left overs home. I love their fresh rolls and their chicken is tender an moist. The restaurant is usually empty as they mostly do take out, there were times when we came in and there were no other tables besides ours, which doesn’t bother me at all! more attention for us!

Can’t go wrong with this Thai restaurant. I’ve tried a handful of items off the menu and I’m satisfied with the quality and quantity so far. My go-to Thai in the area!

We used to be regular customers here but things have gone downhill in the past few months. They consistently mess up our order by making the wrong dish spicy. The noodle dishes are often soggy because they are saturated in oil/butter. They no longer use fresh vegetables in all there dishes(frozen veggies instead) which is disappointing. We will not be ordering from this place anytime soon.

Had my first«real» meal here today and I decided to go with the drunken noodles add chicken. I have to say it’s pretty damn good and healthy. As you all know I am from Atlanta and with the diversity of foods from my city, you are almost forced to be a gastronome. I gave this place 5 stars because of their friendly staff and it’s pretty damn healthy– nice, fresh vegetables dance around my plate which is s joy for me as a runner! P. S try their Grilled Chicken Salad with peanut sauce(carrot sauce available too if you have allergies). BYTHEWAYWITHEVERYMEAL, GET A THAITEA. You’ll love me later.

Ok since going to Phở & Thai, I have now had the unfortunate diagnosis of Celiac. I am truly thankful to the staff here as I can fully trust them to make me a gluten free meal. Many of the meal can be made gluten free… Just make sure you tell them of your allergy issues. This place is spot on… I eat there twice a week, and can’t be happier. Check it out.

Phở Thai is my favorite spot for authentic Thai in and around Belmont. I find it to be very clean and the food has always been fresh. I am a big fan of the basil fired rice and the chicken krapow. Friendly staff and great take out service.

Stopped in last week for a quick lunch while waiting for my car to be cleaned. It was the only place open for real food within walking distance. My boyfriend and I were the ONLY people there when we first were seated although several people came in for take out. They have a nice menu. I got crab rangoons which were crispy and delicious and the Phở Ga(chicken noodle soup). The soup was decent but not as flavorful as other Phở I’ve had. Boyfriend got the chicken wings and didn’t complain. The décor/atmosphere is kinda lame but the good cheap food makes up for it.

Nice place, local. The phở is very tasty, but a little bit too meaty for me(I prefer phở that is more herbal and strong). The prices were reasonable, but given my preferences it was a teensy bit on the pricey side. Overall would recommend

I like this place, and would recommend it to anyone interested in good quality, good tasting Southeast Asian cuisine. My favorites are the drunken noodles beef, pad thai shrimp and kra pow. I’ve probably tried 60% of the entrees, appetizers, salads and soups on their menu, and can truthfully say this is one of the better Thai eateries in the Western ‘burbs. The in house service is friendly and the delivery service has been fine.

Your standard do it all Asian take out restaurant. Everything was good, but not really memorable. Their crab rangoon are smaller than most I have had before but they were really good and crunchy, much easier to pop in your mouth whole compared to the more traditional ones.

First of all, this place just gives you fresh, great quality food. It’s worth the trip from Boston. My favorite dishes are plenty! Sure there are some dishes I’m not really fond of but they are pretty decent. Some dishes are just an acquired taste. My favorite appetizers are Crab Rangoon and Combo platters. Crab Rangoon here is light and to die for! Yum! I’m also a fan of pad Thai, drunken noodles and Phở thai noodle soup! If I feel like I wanna splurge, I’d go with Lemon Bay, a sweet and sour seafood dish with just a touch of perfect spice. All and all I love this place for its simple and scrumptious food!

DONOTORDERFROMHERE. Called to place a delivery order at 6pm and still not had received our food at 8pm. Finally spoke to a woman who was EXCEPTIONALLY rude and tried to tell me that the 2.1 mile drive from Belmont to waltham would take at least 45 minutes if not over an hour. I have never been so dumbfounded. 30 minutes and 2 phone calls later the food had still not arrived and we cancelled our order. Never again.

Phở and Thai is still our number 1 take-out restaurant in the area. Firstly, because it’s two blocks away from our house, and secondly, because the food is consistently good. We still love the Tom Yum noodle soup, but also the fresh spring rolls with shrimp, chicken satay, pad thai, drunken noodles with beef or tofu and Thai fried rice. I’ve eaten at the restaurant once, but we get take-out 2 – 3 times a month. They recognize us when we call to order. :)

If it’s a cold winter day, or you’re just looking for some better-than-ramen noodles in soup, Phở and Thai is an underappreciated gem. I won’t give any specific suggestions, frankly because I don’t remember their names, but I do want to promote this place as a cool spot to have a slightly different type of meal. Phở and Thai is one of those«warm your belly» spots, and great for when you’ve got the mid-winter sniffles. My brother, among the braver souls, has declared one of their spicier soups as his remedy to a sore throat and stuffed sinuses. Their appetizers are typical asian cuisine(crab rangoon and dumplings being among the list). However, there are some cool strictly Thai appetizers you can get, too. I’m giving this only 3 stars because the service isn’t out-of-this-world extraordinary, nor their food jump up for joy delicious. It’s a consistent option if you’re looking for a specific type of food. it definitely doesn’t get a lot of hype, but for sure worth checking out if you want to warm up on a cooler night.
