Robert was recommended by a good friend. He has done many different pieces for me. Each one has turned out perfect! He always has great recommendations and ideas that I had not thought of. He has takes an older chair reupholstered in a modern fabric and redid the legs. You would never know it was the same piece. Did a whole set that had stripes… every one matches perfect, even when I flip them over. Also did a great job on a huge window seat. He is also so honest. I brought a set of dining chairs in. What I wanted to do would have ruined the value of the chairs. I had no idea they were hand made and by creating a new seat and adding studs would have ruined them. He could have just done what I asked but he told me what he knew. He is a true craftsman. I recommend everyone to him. Love him!!! Wouldn’t think of going anywhere else.

Robert, is a master from the old country. Charm oozing out of his smiling face. He has recently recovered a fine old American turn of the century arm chair with fabulous attention to detail, cording, cushions etc. Our last challenge was to re-upholster 6 dinning room chairs from a pre-war set belonging to my wife’s mother. Working with Linda banks Interior Design, Robert used a material that was almost exactly the same as the original(found under 3 other layers). What impressed me most was the floral pattern was centered in exactly the same place on all six chairs. I have 3 – 4 other pieces that need to be restored, as soon as the frames are good, Robert will do his magic on the upholstery. Love this guy. love his work.
