A+++ Cannot thank them enough for taking in two neglected, then abandoned dogs. Everyone there was warm and caring. Dorothy was incredibly helpful as were the kennel staff and other volunteers. As another reviewer mentioned, they are small and not fancy, but their hearts are in the the right place. This is what matters most. These dogs and our neighbors hold them in very high regard. Thank you!!!

This small organization is a great place to find a dog. They are flexible and easy to work with, and they will gladly help you search for the right animal if they don’t have it. It isn’t a particularly polished operation. If you want a pretty rescue with nice facilities, go this place will disappoint you. But, if you want a shelter that is committed to helping you find the right animal for your home, no kill and no nonsense, Fresh start is perfect.
