Without a doubt, the Crab Rangoon is the best item on the menu. Other than that, not liking their food at all. Tried the General Tso Shrimp. The coating on the shrimp was soggy and flavorless. The sweet and sour chicken wasn’t any better.

This is the best in 100 miles. The restaurant is a bit outdated and the parking isn’t the best but the food outshines it all. When I moved out of delivery range from this restaurant it was heartbreaking

The girls at the register are clueless, I asked things about the food, for example(this is from the second to last time I was there) what the wings are like and they responded with«we have wings!?» Then the last time I was there today I asked about the tofu once again she didn’t know anything and didn’t care to ask someone who might. When I got home I see noodles which were hard and not cooked(when I asked for noodles instead of rice I asked if it is cooked and she said yes) it was hard and they didn’t close the lid to one of my dishes so it got everywhere and was extremely hot. So if your looking for a tofu dish then Skip this place, there meat dishes weren’t so bad but nothing special(second to last visit). They do give a huge serving though so that’s nice if you like the dish you ordered. So once again don’t get the tofu it’s a very strange texture and lacks taste(no I don’t have anything against tofu I eat it when I make it at home all the time). I do recommend the appetizers though, I though it was the best part and only part I can actually eat. It sinks because a few years ago they were really good, I’m not sure what they did to change it but they need to go back to the way they use to be.

This was the worst Chinese I’ve ever had. I’ve had food court Chinese better than this crap. It was over priced, cold and lo mein noodles tasted like peanut butter. I’ve had authentic Chinese and Japanese. I know the difference between good and bad, and this is bad. There was no crab in the crab Rangoon. And the beef was gray and tasted like… Well not beef. I will never order from here ever again. We thew it away, I won’t even let my dogs eat it.

Food is awesome. The food from the Belvidere Lung Fung tastes fresher than Lung Fung 2 in Cherry Valley. Portions are more generous from the Belvidere location. I won’t criticize the restaurant interior, as when you walk in you feel like you’ve stepped right into a 1970’s era Chinese Food Restaurant. I would say more nostalgic than outdated.

Staff is rude, food is mediocre, restaurant is dirty. Ordered chicken with broccoli and was sent the wrong item by delivery — took them an hour to bring me a replacement and even then, they gave me attitude. Avoiding at all costs!

Obvious employees are obvious. This was the WORST«oriental» food I have had. EVER. The owner is rude and uncomfortably touchy feely with his young female employees. The establishment is dark and dingy and kept that way to hide the bugs I found around my table. The crab Rangoon was microwaved, the beef broccoli I had was barely cooked and not seasoned as I asked. When I registered my complaint, the owner told me I didn’t know what I was talking about. I’d rather go to Happy Wok than eat this garbage again. Better cuisine can be found at Panda Garden in Poplar Grove which is well worth the trip and money.

The best Chinese restaurant in Belvidere! They are pretty cheap, especially if you get a daily special, which includes a side of fried rice or white rice, crab Rangoon or egg roll, and your meal. Not to mention Lung Fung has the best crab Rangoon ever! Sometimes I just order that. They make their food fresh and they prepare it really fast. You will definitely enjoy Lung Fung!

Best Chinese Resturant in the area. We mostly do carry out. But have eaten at Resturant? Could use a remodel

Blah. Just visited for lunch, and was not impressed. Ordered the general tso’s chicken and crab Rangoon, which came with egg drop soup. I found out that I dont care for egg drop soup… had never tried it before so I can’t really review that. The general tso’s however, I have had numerous times at other places. Well, this was the worst. Totally flavorless… not sure it was chicken. The fried rice tasted burnt. The crab Rangoon was ok, but I have had better on a buffet. Waitress was civil. Overall, I would say I probably won’t be back and was disappointed. Only place I have rated lower was a buffet in Rockford where I had ants crawling on my table.

I was in Belvidere earlier this week and my boyfriend suggested that we go here with a couple of family members for lunch. We had been before(and it was good) but a couple of years had passed in between so we didn’t know if it would still be good. I was very happy with the meal and the service. Our waitress was great, the food was tasty and I certainly had plenty to eat. I was also very happy that they had a vegetarian soup option for the lunch special, which the waitress told me about after I asked if the egg drop soup had meat. All in all, I think it was a pretty good deal and I’ll definitely come back when I’m in the area again.

Atmosphere is a little outdated(1984) but the Crab Rangoon was outstanding along with the egg drop soup. I ordered the lunch special(Sweet and Sour chicken) it was crispy and delicious. I must say its great. Bathroom is not so great… If you can, hold it until you get outside. ;)

This is our all time favorite Chinese restaurant, partially because of our waitress Connie(who doesn’t work Saturday nights) she is attentive and remembers what your order is if you come often. Best egg rolls around. Love their pot stickers, Orange Beef, Orange Chicken are family favorites(bit spicy though so beware if you are a wimp!) Great sweet & sour chicken and beef and broccoli.

Not only is the food here Great taseting, but they give you huge portions too. If you order food for one person there is enough for two people. Even on a small budget you will not leave hungry!

It’s your average run of the mill Chinese food. The portions are big and price is cheap, wait staff is friendly. It might be great for Belvidere but that’s not saying much.

EXCELLENTVALUE! There is barely a resturant anywhere you can sit down with a family of four and get away for 20 dollars. This place is awesome for lunch since they stopped the smoking. For two people and a LOT of good food your talking maybe 12 bucks. In perspective thats about the same for one person at Applebees. The décor is dated but the service is fast and friendly. This place is a small family owned resturant thats a diamond in the rough in downtown Belvidere. Don’t expect first rate but expect good food, at a good price in a relaxed friendly atmosphere.

Hidden Gem? I beg to differ. I had the sesame chix and it had no flavor whatsoever. It was basically a runny, broth based soup that they call sauce. When you have to go home and put sesame oil and soy sauce in it to make it good, there is a problem.

$ 5 lunch specials. What more could you ask for? Oh yeah… authentic Chinese food… maybe that’s the most important factor. Seriously. No MSG, no extra grease… just the good stuff. It is a little run down, but the food more than makes up for it. Who would have thought that there was a hidden gem in the middle of Belvidere?
