One might not expect such an eclectic menu from a place that only serves a burrito, but the variety from week to week is impressive. One week there may well be something that has almost nothing appealing to me, and that is only due to my own idiosyncratic tastes, because everything there is just great. But the next week is likely to find something quite different and quite wonderful for those same tastes. And even varied tastes can be catered to every week, with every weekly variation available with meat, or vegetarian, or vegan. This business is characterized by its unique offerings, locally sourced when possible ingredients, and hard work service with a smile. I patronize the quirky little wagon when I can, and recommend anyone else to do so.

This is seriously the BEST burrito I have ever had. Move over SanFran, you got nothing on Foiled Rotten! I am hardly ever in Bemidji but thankfully my friend has a cabin there and I actually had some time to get out of the cities this summer! He discovered this gem early this year and am I glad he did! I couldn’t tell you where it is located– that’s what googlemaps is for, but it was off in a little area of the city that seemed really chill and hip as there was also a bookstore/thrift place right next to it and nothing else. The cook/owner/amazing woman, comes up with 3 different burritos ever week– a vegan, vegetarian, and meaty! That’s already insane! But then you can order a half for $ 6 or a whole burrito for $ 10. This will fill you up! We couldn’t decide between the vegan and veggie, so we got a half of both and seriously these things were huge! I was so full I fell asleep on the way to the state park. More importantly the flavors were so unique and healthy and happy you wouldn’t believe that this beautiful pop-up was tucked away. The vegan had pumpkin and seeds quinoa something and fresh veggies and was extremely good from first to last bite! Both were full of ingredients so you didn’t get the disappointing bite of only tortilla. They were spiced beautifully and just typing this makes me wish I was up north! A must see if you have a cabin up there, or for you Bemidji folk– go check it out!

They rotate flavors every week! This food truck was brightly painted and sitting in the parking lot of the Folk School. It was right off the bike path for us to find dinner. I ordered a burrito to split with a friend and they kindly cut it to share. I experienced the Brazilian flavored burrito. It was filled with mango-lime black bean patty, pico salsa, guacamole, herbed mint and parsley rice. I enjoyed it, but wished there was more mango-lime flavors. The black bean and rice made it pretty heavy. I would like to try their other flavors as well. Support and buy local!

Had the korean bbq burrito. Talk about fantastic. Seasoned perfectly. The cabbage was light, fresh and had the best combination of spice and vinegar. My only(minor) gripe is I would have loved more pork but I am the one usually heaping protein on my plate. I love that there is an option like this in Bemidji. I can tell they put a lot of effort into the food. I will definitely be back. Loved it.

Great people and great food! There’s usually a vegan/vegetarian option which is awesome since it’s difficult to get good vegetarian options in the area. A very relaxed environment in front of the folk school. A great place to sit, eat, chat and watch the sunset if you’re there late enough. The staff is very nice and friendly. The menu can vary each week. My friend lives nearby and goes every week at least 1 or both nights and says the veggie burrito option is always delicious.
