I’m giving the eye doctor, Dr Fredrickson, a 4, and the opticians… well, below a 1, so a 2 average.
We’ll see if they salvage this, but, so far, typical northern Minnesota customer service.

I really like these guys, I have been going to them for going on about 10 years now, since right after I moved up here and got the recomendation from a co-​worker. Dr Hess is about as good as you can get, and Dave Smith (owner) is super friendly and always helpful. A+ guys!

I really don’t know how you would change things to offer better service.
Our whole family goes here for regular eye exams by two very caring and and gregariously personable eye doctors Dr Hess and Dr Fredrickson.
They have a staff that does frame repairs on the spot.

The staff there are low pressure and pleasant to work with. Dr. Hess has worked with two of our young children and has been very kind and gentle with them. He was able to inform us of some serious problems with our sons eye and even called me after hours to work with getting a referral to a specialist that could help us. After almost a year of corrective therapy, my son needed glasses so we came back here. The staff helped us find the best type of frames for an active 5 year old, and were helpful in getting them fixed after my son’s little friend sat on them.
I have been to several other optometrist in the city and while you will find many with fancier offices, I couldn’t ask for nicer people!
