I highly recommend David Hofvendahl who is a truly hands on contractor-​builder-​designer. He is a show up kind of guy. He has excellent communication skills and gets the job done. Very high quality workmanship.

David Hofvendahl, at Sunburst Construction, is simply a fantastic craftsman! He fixed a deck and installed a beautiful wood floor in one house, and we sought him out out for help with a second. In the latest case he replaced and upgraded windows and doors, faced a fireplace with slate, and installed a slate floor in the bathroom. He also found solutions for some difficult problems with this old house, including finding a way to fix the lump in the kitchen floor. We are delighted! We will definitely call him again!

David does such beautiful work. He is honest, thorough, careful, artistic, and reasonably priced. He raised one side of our house 3.5 inches, and did a fantastic job. The work is sturdy and — even though a foundation doesn’t need to be — he made it look attractive too! I have seen other projects that David has done, and he always does a phenomenal job — his sense of aesthetics is well developed, and whatever he touches comes out looking amazing.
