Just have to update. Lynn England, who is also the owner, did my hair for about three years. She somehow knew exactly what would work and what I really wanted. I’m 56 and pretty grey, have HAD brown hair with highlights pretty much from the time I could afford to go to a hair salon. I lived in Bend five years. My first stylist was ok – I’m talking about hair and personality — then she moved. Next was a coupon deal — one time — with Idk who. But It was a terrible job. The point is, I was now older and wanted a different look. Ok, I always wanted to be blonde. Finally, a friend recommended Lynn. LYNNWORKEDWITHMEFORANENTIREYEAR — TWOUNTILMY mid-length hair finally grew out and I absolutely loved it from the beginning to the end. She is certainly a PERFECTIONIST, which I appreciated. So why the sob story and the update? I had to move to Las Vegas for a job, was concerned about keeping my hair I had spent two years on the same. I found a stylist, called Lynn back in Bend, got the info on Lynn’s products so I could make sure they were the same. Well, no — the Vegas stylist didn’t even know about the products but was kind enough to buy them for me so she could use them(I reimbursed her.) She said they were quite expensive, but while she was in the beauty place buying the stuff, she had two people(stylists) come up to her and say how great these particular products were. So, she did my hair(Vegas gal). The first time it turned out ok… actually I thought it was too blonde and one-colorish. Anyway, because of affordability I didn’t get back to this gal until 3 mos. later. I walked in and showed her two pictures, the good one(Lynn’s cut and color) and hers(blonde and frizzy) and just said I thought maybe we should add some lowlights to break it up or something? This is getting too long. Bottom line. I guess she forgot(even thought the special products are specifically for light blonde hair, I think) what I liked. I walked out with a full head of reddish brown hair. I was shocked beyond belief. If I sound overly dramatic, well, find a woman who doesnt get dramatic about a bad, expensive hair cut or color and I’ll… idk, put her up for 3 nights in a casino or something(joking) Anyway I set an appointment up to fix it, but Idk if it’s possible. And of course, this is all right before Xmas. I just called Lynn(the Bend gal I’m recommending) to see what she might be able to tell me what to tell the Vegas person what to do and if it’s even possible to get close to what I’d had. I’ve had every kind of colorist and stylist out there. Super expensive Newport Beach OC California stylists and the cheapies when my kids were teens and I had to pay for four. I have NEVER had the perfect color achieved, based on Lynn’s expertise primarily(but she totally listened and wanted my input) before — and I highly doubt I will ever have it again. THISISHOWGOOD I THINKSHEIS. Long story, Holiday season, bummed out. Sorry so long. :)

I went here based on one review. I needed something very simple… something that I have done many times that takes less than 45 min. I needed one strip of my hair bleached and colored red. I moved to Bend this year so had to go to someone new. Well after two hours of bleaching one strip of hair and being sent home with dye in my hair and a plastic bag on my head because a 20 min bleach job took two hours… I also couldn’t get away from being sold things! And to top it off. for something ive never paid more than 45 dollars for. I was charged 85 because it took her so long? All my friends and coworkers dont even believe me when I tell them how much my strip of hair cost. $ 85 plus tip. Crazy.
