The food is not bad and the prices fair. I have been avoiding the restaurant because of the reviews. But today, after months decided to give it a chance. I would like to see them address some of the 1 and 2 star reviews. It is never a good idea to avoid these since there is always 2 sides to any story. Basic 101 social media. There is one 1 star review where the reviewer has only written 3 reviews and they are all 1 star… pathetic

Horrible experience at this restaurant. Going in with a Chritstmas certificate for $ 25, find out after already ordering 2 lunches and 2 drinks that your husband can’t eat there. We went through the menu before ordering to try to determine if there was anything on the menu for his lunch. We were told that only one burrito had none of his problem food. Since we’d already paid with the gift certificate, when we were told that the guy behind the counter made a mistake, we said that we would have to drink our drinks and leave. We wanted to get our $ 7.00 back that was left over after we used up the balance of the gift certificate. A woman who claimed to be the manager but really wasn’t(we found out later) told us that their policy was not to give any cash back but to put $ 7.00 back on the gift certificate. No amount of reasoning with her worked in any way. After trying to get some empathy from her, she said that we would have to leave because we were getting too angry & was going to call the cops. Gee, I got to eat ½ burrito hurry though my drink and my husband got to sit there with only his drink and no food for approximately 30 minutes. Then we were ordered out of the place. So finally the real manager came in and tried to diffuse the situation. My husband was given back his remaining $ 7.00. I am wondering if it was worth it to this establishment to fight with the customer over such a silly thing. We were only asking for our fair compensation when they could not in the future, give us the service that the gift certificate represented.

This is a great place! I love anywhere that is extremely healthy and yet has great food. There is a lot of flavor and because it’s healthy you feel great after eating. The price is also extremely reasonable. I’ve been to this location and one in Eugene, and both were great. This is definitely my new go to place for something quick and delicious.

I loved it… both times I went. Loved. And now I’m visiting Reno and I’m tempted to ignore all of the restaurant suggestions here and eat at their Laughing Planet(they have one too). The Bend location does leave a lot to be desired. It’s in a weird spot sure… and the parking lot is tiny. However, there seems to be ample parking on the side streets(for free). I had the Che burrito the first time which was really good… plantains and black beans with some sweet potato? Yes please. The hubby had the Korean BBQ with beef and claimed it was fantastic(the oatmeal raisin cookie was a bust… a little to gritty for our taste…“healthy” cookies can taste good too ya know). We dined in with a couple of friends. Everyone loved their food and since it was around 1:30pm the wait wasn’t long and it didn’t seem loud to us. But I can see how acoustics could be an issue during a rush. The second time i went back I got a Thai Bowl to go. My only small complaint was that I asked if they could make it as a wrap instead of a bowl(since they can make any wrap into a bowl I figured they could do the reverse). I was informed they were no longer permitted to do that but they gave me a tortilla so I could wrap it myself. Not a huge issue but I just wonder why… Anyway, it too was delicious. You just can’t go wrong with peanut sauce. Really good food and friendly staff. They offer kombucha on tap, which is always a plus. I would definitely eat here again and again.

The Wifi password for this Laughing Planet on 3rd st in Bend, OR as of today 9÷2÷15 is: eatyourveggies The people here on both sides of the counter are wonderful. It certainly did take a long time to get my food(the mashed potato bowl) but it turned out to be a massaged baked potato, so I guess it took a while to bake the potato. As mentioned, you put away your plates. It reminds me of a sustainability retreat I went on once in Santa Cruz with the lovely Jeannie Collins. Ah memories.

It’s not a favorite of mine. I went there once, and the only thing that was really impressive was the dinosaur toys on the table. It’s not the worst, but I’ve had better.

4 Stars because I enjoyed their smoothies! Serving size was small considering the price is comparable to chipotle’s bowl. I ordered the Bollywood Bowl, it was ok, not bad but not the greatest. The décor of the restaurant was super cute with toy dinosaurs everywhere. When you order, they give you a number and then you seat yourself. And they deliver the items to you. And when you’re done eating, you have to put away your own dishes. I love this concept ! Staff were super chill and friendly. The food was a tad bit cold. It may be on the pricey side. But overall good experience !

The food here has been good every time we have been here. The ambiance(aka NOISE!) every time here is a meal killer. I guess if you think of it as a big food cart and get take out it’s got merit. Otherwise, until you get some acoustic panels placed I am only going to think of you as a big fancy and yummy food cart.

Supposedly this is a good place to eat. Ordered my food to go and then waited as everyone behind me got and ate their food. I finally got my food after asking twice but noticed they mistakenly made it for dine-in and then just dumped it into a to-go bowl. Paid $ 11 for the tiny bowl… won’t be going there anymore especially after no apologies for waiting 30 minutes… Whatevs

So awesome to find a place that makes flavorful and healthy food! I got the Paleo Bowl and the Pb&J smoothie both. They don’t add any sugars or anything artificial to the smoothies. Mine was tasty and the perfect consistency. Really hit the spot I was craving something sweet. The Paleo Bowl was great too. I was surprised the garlic green beans were so good too. I don’t usually like green beans. I would come here all the time if I lived in the area.

It’s so hard to find a place to eat, even in healthy Bend, that offers a paleo/primal option. They have one feature meal, Paleo Bowl on the menu and it was really good. I wish there were others, but they will sub stuff for other items to be paleo compliant. I don’t mind the extra dollar charge for subbing sauteed garlic kale for rice dishes. They also have Kombucha on tap so that’s awesome. I had the Bollywood Bowl today and it was excellent. They don’t bitch about your subbing requests and are pretty nice. I would love for them to feature desserts other than cookies. I suggested on a comment card that they carry Plant Based Pies in Bend vegan/dairy free/soy free/crap free cheesecakes, that would be perfect! I hope they read this.

Food here is awesome! They scratch make a lot of the menu – and it shows. Eat here at least once a week and always have a great experience. Friendly staff and a lot of veg & vegan options. And they always have Atlas cider on tap!

Pretty good chic burrito and salads Need to fix the accoistics in this place so much sound bouncing around off the concrete floor, high ceilings and walls Needs carpet or curtains to absorb the sound waves talking and music too much for us Cannot return here until issue resolved. Great food Keep that part up. maybe turn music down so customers can talk easier.

After waiting for 30 minutes, the server admitted that they had forgotten our order, and it had been just sitting on the hot plate. Needless to say, our quesadilla was steamed to a soggy mess. Their mistake made us miss the movie we were on our way to see. They did the same thing to my friend the last time she went there. The food is great, but pay attention to who orders after you; if they get their food first odds are they have forgotten your order. VERY disappointed.

We are so glad this place opened! We love light, healthy, fresh food, and this place meets all criteria. It’s Latin influenced, with lots of black beans, rice, salsas, chilies, etc. They make an assortment of burritos, bowls, salads, etc, that are all with local, organic and sustainable options. Portions are perfectly appropriate and I actually finish my whole meal. I love that they have plantains on the menu. It’s very kid friendly with dinosaurs all over for them to play with, and the dinos get a «bath» twice a day, which I think it just so clever and cute. Especially since I saw a kid putting a dino in his mouth. Disgusting. I love their smoothies and juices, and they have healthy soda options. No complaints about this place, we’ve had excellent service and love the food. Great place to bring your veggie friends, too, and for omnivores, you can add beef or chicken(local and organic) to anything on the menu.

A «healthy» café, that has great tasting food and reasonable prices. The staff were friendly, fun and very helpful my 1st time in when I was trying to decide what to get. They have a ton of options if you have dietary restrictions. If you like spicy… Try the Orange Habanero! I have tried a few of their burritos as a bowl… Spinach & blackbean is my favorite so far. The spinach lentil soup is also very good. ** suggestion for LPC … Use real kimchi in your Korean BBQ Bowl !!!
