We did not have a good experience working with Pam on our wedding. She ignored our requests regarding menu options, only suggested one caterer, one rental company for the PA, one company for each service on our list. When we asked her for competitive bids after seeing the estimates, she was offended and refused to provide them since she, «had been working with these companies for a long time». Wait a second, who’s paying you here? She was completely unapologetic when I pointed out that this was a conflict of interest.
To make matters worse, she was malicious enough to cancel our reservation for the wedding venue after we terminated her services. This sort of behavior is unconscionable and put a lot of stress on us as a couple with only a few weeks before our wedding.
In summary, this person has no right to masquerade as an event planner considering the poor level of service and lack of decency she displayed in our limitted encounter with her. She is one of the least professional people I have ever encountered outside of a bathroom attendant I once encountered at a hotel in San Francisco who could not resist asking me how I was doing while I was in a stall.
