Sunriver Dance Academy

My daughter has been a part of the Sunriver Dance Academy for the last two years. Under the guidance of Miss Judie, Miss Heidi, and Miss Sara Jo my daughter has blossomed and grown tremendously. These ladies have instilled a confidence in her that nothing before ever had. Their knowledge of dance and the gentle and fun way they teach, is exactly what we were looking for. Next year, my youngest will be joining the SDA dance community. I feel so lucky to have found the Sunriver Dance Academy and the wonderful teachers they have. My kids are blessed to have such a great place to grown and learn. And I feel confident in Miss Sara Jo and Miss Heidi, not only with the dance skills they’re teaching our children, but in the strong female role models and mentorship they inevitably provide.

My daughter went to this dance studio for 8 years. Had to work hard to be able to do Pointe at 14. I found favoritism toward the teachers children. The children were unable to uphold rules forced with other students. Bullying. The teachers students always got the leads to all recitals. I wish I had known this. I would of invested in a studio that treated all children as equals. If your okay with your child not being recognize and focus always on teacher kids at recital. Its a average studio, run down. Location is it only plus.
