The Cake Lady

The Cake Lady made my husband and I the most DELICIOUS red velvet with vanilla buttercream wedding cake we have ever had!!! It was so amazing that our guests were asking to have the leftovers for breakfast the next morning!

I had to order a wedding cake quickly as our friend surprised us they would be getting married in less than two weeks. The Cake Lady Linda was wonderful and honestly I expected to pay much more. I ordered an elegant and traditional white cake, two tiers, 8 & 6 inches with fresh strawberry filling and devil’s food chocolate inside. It was to die for. Highly recommend her. Also, they have a cute cupcake and goodie bakery and coffee, if you want to stop by for a treat.

We wanted a special cake for my mom’s 85^th birthday and The Cake Lady came through. My mom likes chocolate so I asked for a chocolate, chocolate, chocolate cake. Oh, with flowers. Oh, and with lots of writing on it. We got a cake with chocolate cake, chocolate frosting, chocolate mousse filling between the layers. A huge hit enjoyed by all. In fact, my mom, when the time came to cut it, had a hard time doing so as she said it was just too nice to cut. Yes, we got beyond that tense moment. :-)

The Cake Lady designed my wedding cake as well as the Groom’s cake for my wedding and she did a FANTASTIC job! From the consultation to the delivery, we were SO PLEASED with The Cake Lady. Her prices are reasonable, but the cake is out of the world. I think I ate more cake at my consultation then I did on my wedding day, and it was delicious. I am not a cake fan, I merely had it out of tradition, but this any cake from here I would eat again and again. My cake was pink champagne (forgot the frosting) and it was to die for. I was SO impressed with how the Groom’s Cake turned out. She did a chocolate cake in the shape of Texas. She brought the colors of the Texas flag through with fresh berries. I was impressed with her eye for detail. Every single blueberry was the same shape and uniformed. The strawberries were the most beautiful strawberries I have ever seen and the white chocolate dipped ones were done perfectly. I cannot say enough amazing things about the cakes, people and professionalism at The Cake Lady. The only bad thing is that I live in Texas now and can’t have more cakes from here! Cake Lady makes the best cake on the planet!!! I have been ordering cakes from Cake Lady since 2006 and she has always come through with gorgeous and delicious cake. My favorite is white cake, raspberry filling and her famous butter cream frosting. She comes up with fun and creative designs. I order cakes for birthdays and any special events.
