I met Mark when my son took bass lessons from him 11 years ago. He has also been teaching me. Mark is very patient and has insight to what I am ready to develop next. His lessons are a safe place to learn and improve. You may also get to enjoy his wry humor(no extra charge)

If you’re looking to learn to play guitar in a laid back easy going way, this is the ticket. Mark customizes his lessons to your personality. He works with you to develop lessons based on your style of learning. I began taking lessons from Mark over 3 years ago when he was teaching my girlfriend’s daughter. He has a large array of students and makes it work with each of them. Give him a call today to see if he has a spot open for you!

I have been getting guitar lessons from Mark for about 3 years now, after getting a recommendation from a friend. Mark is very friendly and knowledgeable in teaching guitar and bass, as well as the music theory behind it all. He teaches all styles: classical, blues, jazz, rock, etc. Mark teaches you what you want to learn in a very natural way, gradually building on the skills you have attained. He is very supportive and encourages you if you are stuck. If you are having too much trouble with one approach of playing, he will think of another way for you to play it instead. His style of teaching is all about options. He gives you all the tools and it is up to you to choose which ones you want to use. After some lessons and practicing, you’ll be amazed by what you can play with ease that was previously impossible. One of the best ways to become a musician is by playing with other people. That’s why Mark has organized a couple of groups of his students that play together once a month. It is interesting listening to the sound that each individual contributes and the sound that you develop. I have learned so much about guitar and music in general, I now better appreciate many more genres and styles of music. He is great!
