Mountain Mike’s Pizza

So, we decided on pizza for dinner. Called to pick it up, was immediately put on hold. Was on hold for 10 min (I looked at the timer on my screen), hung up & called back. I figured they might’ve forgotten me? When k called back, was placed on hold again, this time for 4 minutes.
I used a coupon, $ 15.99+tax for one large one topping pizza. Pepperoni. Should be ready in 35 – 45 min. Ok with that.
Picked up our pizza, got home and we were ready to grub. First bite? YUCK DRY PIZZA. It really lacked sauce. I don’t think that’s considered a topping right? Do I have to say «sauce and pepperoni?» We were very disappointed with our dinner choice.

I usually order for pick up & there pretty quick. Pizza done right everytime. There always friendly. Plus if u didn’t know every Tuesdays is 40% off!

I should have known this was not going to be a good experience from the initial call to order my pizza. I was placed on hold for a couple of minutes then the gentleman taking my order made me repeat it multiple times and it was a simple order. We were told 40 – 45 minutes and an hour later I called to check. The girl that answered said our pizza was just coming out of the oven and we should have it in 10 – 15. 30 minutes later our pizza arrived, cold. Terrible service and with the other options in town, won’t return to Mountain Mike’s.

I like Mike’s for a lot of reasons, the biggest being that they have great pizza and decent prices.
Tuesday night here is 40% off any pizza until closing. So I got an Everest, which is my favorite.
Loaded with toppings and a gazillion calories, this will ruin any diet imaginable.
They now have gluten-​free crust for the anti-​yummy food crowd out there.
Wednesday is the buffet. Can you imagine!!! Me, unleashed on an all you can eat pizza mountain? O Holy Lord!!!, you are truly wonderful, praise Jesus!

This place is terrible! Service and pizza sucked. The guy at the register did not know what he was doing. there were 3 employees and 3 customers in the place and the place was dirty, tables needed clearing and floor vacuumed. I waited for 20 minutes before asking for my pizza and they had just put it into the oven: I repeat there were only 3 customers and the staff was doing nothing-​nowhere to be found. The manager did not offer anything like, sorry for the wait, can I get you something while you wait. Just said it should be out in about 5 minutes. 10 minutes later I got my pizza which also sucked; had to get it to go. The dough was gummy where it met the crust and the sauce was still cold. This is not the first time i have had a bad experience there, shame on me for going again. That will never happen again, ever, ever, I will never ever go back to that Mountain Mikes Pizza place. I could go on, but I have wasted enough of my time at the place. Don’t you make the same mistake.

This place has terrible service and has you wait for hours and the employees are helpless and dont care for their customers

Place is horrible. Customer service is bad! I waited for an hour and my pizza tasted like it was 3 days old. This is not the first time, shame on me for going again, will never give them my buisness again. There are other places around don’t spend your money here.

This place sucks. First of all. Its hot as hell in there. Then their toy machine ate my money. And they made me wait 45 mins for a small pizza that they wouldn’t even give me if I didn’t ask them about it. The worst part. COLD PIZZA and unhappy me.

Walked in with my boyfriend to only walk out — place had dirty tables, employees from back just looked at us. Only business is from the flies

Just came from ordering a large Mount Everest and pepperoni pizza. TALK ABOUT CHEAP! The original mountain mikes pepperoni has 100 slices of pepperoni. this one from Benicia location had 25! This was a cheese pizza. This is not the quality pizza we are use to ordering from mountain mikes.
Don’t order from this location. CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP OWNERSHIP

Gave up on Mountain Mike’s in Vallejo so gave the Benicia location a try. Ordered a small thin crust with sausage. Hard to find the sausage and the pizza sauce was just ok. Big Italian Pizza on Sonoma Drive in Vallejo has far superior pizza and they actually include the toppings ordered. Never again Mike’s. Never again.

Pizza is delicious. Good service, staff was very friendly. However, we walked in to a nearly empty restaurant and a few of the tables had not been cleaned. We dined in and the entire time we were there no one came out to clean, despite there being more than enough staff to manage with so few patrons. Also, a little pricey for me… two pizzas, (one xl and one med) and drinks = $ 52.

Ordered pizza here last night for delivery. She told me 40 minutes for my large half pepperoni, olives and mushrooms and half cheese. After an hour I called to check on it. She said the man just left. So I waited. Another 20 minutes he finally knocks on my door. I get the pizza inside and it is ice cold. I had to put it in the microwave before serving it. If my pizza took an hour and a half to get to me it should AT LEAST be hot…

I typically love Mountain Mike’s pizza however recently I’ve noticed a serious down turn in quality and my most recent experience was terrible. After submitting my order I noticed that I got no confirmation email and there was no charge to my account but the webpage said my order was submitted so I figured I would just wait. After one hour, which was fine even though the site said it’d be 45 – 50 minutes I didn’t care because I was just hungry the delivery driver pulled out his phone at the door and asked to see my credit card. I told him I had already put in my information on the webpage when I ordered and he said that wasn’t how they charged anymore. So since I hadn’t seen a charge on my account I figured that it was strange but possible so I gave him my card info for and signed it adding a small tip out of habit.
A couple hours later I went to check my account and was furious to find that there were two seperate charges from mountain mike’s one for the base cost of the pizza and one for the amount plus tip I paid to the guy who delivered it. I immediately called to figure out what happened and first got connected with the manager (fine) but then he told me I would have to talk to the owner since only he could deal with these issues. I was less than understanding about that but he told me the owner would be in in a couple of hours and said he would have the owner call me right when they got in (at five oclock). So at 7 oclock when I still hadn’t heard from the store manager I called back and asked to speak with them only to be told they were unavailable and probably wouldn’t be for the rest of the night. I said that was unacceptable, told them my situation, and that I wanted to speak with them right away. The person on the phone said fine hold on and hung up on me! After that I called right away but I also had plans that night at 8 so when I kept not getting through I finally gave up and went about my night. I called back the next day only to be told the owner wouldn’t be in that day at all and I’d have to try and get them tomorrow. I finally contacted my bank but was told that since the charges were both approved by me they couldn’t do anything about it and that I would have to resolve the issue directly with the business in question.
If I could give zero stars I would.

This place is run by people who just don’t give a crap. There were multiple tables with dirty dishes and drink cups on them waiting for someone to clean them. The salad bar has such a sad selection of items, it really should be called «A lettuce and dressing bar». They brought fresh pizza out for the buffet, which was nice but there were only a few customers. We sat and ate as we watched people come in and stand at the register for quite some time before anyone came to help them. I was surprised they didn’t just give up and walk out. There are a few tables outside, so you can eat with your dog companion. One large TV in the dining area which was playing some sports game. It just made me wonder how this place is still in business when you can get better, cheaper pizza and salad elsewhere.

2 words: NEVER AGAIN. I ordered for delivery and they told me my pizza would be delivered before the hour. After an hour passed I called to check on my order. I asked the guy who answered the phone, very politely, about my order and he tells me they’re short staffed and I can either wait or cancel my order, WTF?! (Not good customer service). I asked for a manager and he tells me there’s not one there and when asked where the manager was at he said «great question… sorry I’m very busy and gotta go» kiss my ass Mountain Mikes, I’m sticking with Napolis from now on!

Yikes… I can’t always give a positive review.
Three of us came in today to watch the Warriors game.
I’ll make this as painless as impossible…

–Tables not bussed
–Broken Arcade Games… who knows for how long.
–Salad Bar was unkept. Was thinking about adding a salad with my pizza, but changed my mind after seeing the salad bar. Didn’t even want to grab some ranch for the pizza.
Decent pizza, cold beer, and the single TV were the only positives about this place. It was NOT a busy night. If I didn’t like their pizza, I probably wouldn’t visit this place again… maybe order delivery.

Love Mountain Mike’s Pizza!!! They r really good! They’re pizza are so cheesy & filled with lots of topping! Love theyrI recommend this pizza place to go for family night & after sport!

It’s been years since I’ve tried Mountain Mike’s Pizza (MMP) and so I thought I’d give them another try. It’s exactly how I remembered MMP. It must be an acquired taste because they have been in business for years now.
It was a Wednesday evening and they had a buffet going on. Salad bar was under par as certain items weren’t refilled and maintained. There was no lettuce! Pizzas offered weren’t appealing. Crust seems to be on the dry side, but I believe it is a preference for some. Part of their buffet offerings were advertised with breadsticks, but they were no where in sight. Hardly anything came out of the kitchen.

Just about the worst pizza lunch buffet ever.
Is the staff even there? No one is available to ask for replenishment of buffet items.
Salad bar is a joke– iceberg lettuce and heavy creamy dressings.
Pizza tasted okay, but sitting under the heat lamps too long. There were no breadsticks at all.
Disappointing for a Mountain Mike’s Pizza place. Usually good quality.
