My fave Starbucks for hanging out. The baristas always get my order down correctly, and the tend to be friendly and helpful. This specific locale gets a bit crowded at certain peak times, but seems to be a familiar and fave spot many Benicia locals. Music is at a moderate level. Sufficient amount of chairs and tables. Some conversations among baristas or customers can be loud. Location is at a busy intersection of shops and restaurants.

I like this Starbucks and I’ve been coming here every so often for years. However, there was apparently regular coffee in the decaf carafe this morning at 9:30 am.(I watched the cup get poured, so I know it wasn’t poured from a regular carafe.) I assume it was an honest mistake, but since I can’t drink regular coffee even mistakenly, I can’t comfortably go to this location again. I hope anyone else who got decaf this morning is OK.

The first time I came here the service was slow, and my Carmel frappuchino was pretty watery. This being my second time, the workers were extremely slow and looked unhappy to be working. It took 5 minutes of me awkwardly waiting at the cashier for someone to finally notice me. It wasn’t even the fact that it was busy at the time– there only one person waiting for their drink. The lady was rude, and told me it was too late when I asked if I could use the star for my free drink.

This is the best Starbucks in town people that work there are nice and friendly. They’re eager to please, work hard and give service with a smile. If you’re not sure about your drink, they will work on it until they get it right! You can tell the manager, Chris, works hard to make her place the best.

If you’re looking for a review of the drinks here – come on, really? It’s a Starbucks, have you been living under a rock? This review is a love letter to this store and the baristas that run the ship. This Starbucks was my second home through the first two years of med school, so I’ve become well-acquainted with this location. Fast internet speeds(thanks Google!), comfortable temperatures, and outlets are plentiful. Always clean, and my only gripe is that the middle schoolers who want their grande-vanilla-bean-frap-extra-whip-oh-and-just-four-venti-waters-for-my-friends don’t leave quickly enough. Starbucks locations are only as good as their baristas, though, and the staff here is the reason I kept coming back. Often, the best part of my stress-filled days was the part in which I made small talk with the guys and gals at the register. They take time to learn your name, no matter how weird it is, and they remember your order, even through that phase in your life where you ordered 10 pumps of classic sweetener in your venti iced coffee.(Don’t worry, I grew out of it and I’m surprisingly not a diabetic.) I love this Starbucks, and I have not gone to a coffee shop I love more – again, in large part due to the friendliness of the baristas. The free refills on iced coffee and iced tea helps, too. :)

Parking is tricky, but worth it for the friendly atmosphere! One of my favorite locations.

Always good service, but the lines are crazy when the nearby schools let out! It feels like all the junior highers are hanging out in front, waiting for a ride. That gets annoying. Also, even though it is in a large shopping center, parking is a pain. That area is always busy.

Quick service and it’s my second time in a Starbucks, the Chocolaty chip mocha is the best so far. Addicting!

This Starbucks is my favorite Starbucks. The location has a small local feel to it. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and the service is super efficient. They are especially efficient in the morning hours when people are in a hurry to get to work. I like the Starbucks smartphone app too and the ability to reload and pay by scanning your phone screen.

**Based off Drive Thru experience only** Nice and friendly staff that is able to move the drive thru efficiently without any issues. I usually go here whenever I am in the area to grab my quick cup of coffee. I have been here a hand full of times and never had any issues with my coffee order. Great place to go if you wanna grab coffee on the go.

I rarely hit Starbucks because frankly, am a big fan of local cafés instead and have never taken a liking to acidic and bitter brews. That being said, passing through a town where the population does not exceed a certain percentage of SSF means that Starbucks will intercede and set up house to take care of those in plight of morning shots of caffeine. This spot is quite popular with the locals and is usually packed in the mornings, both inside and outside. The baristas are friendly and orders fly off the counter like Indy drivers and their rock star hair and hands. Seating is usually not a problem but when school is out, be prepared for a bunch of teenagers to take over the chairs. They usually do this without even purchasing anything. I applaud the staff here for their patience since SF vendors would boot them out but will virtually chastise their adult handlers for not training them right. Manners apparently don’t exist. Even on Muni, so don’t fret, suburbanites. City folk are not exempt from rudeness. Great coffee, service, and easy access off and on the 780!

This is my favorite Starbucks — and not just in Benicia! The food and coffee is good; typical to what I generally expect. However, at a chain like this, a five star is about more than the food and drink quality. The atmosphere here is very nice. I come in often and 1) I can generally find a seat when I arrive, if not shortly after, 2) there are plenty of plug ins for the computer, and 3) seats are good quality and comfortable. Also, the service here is good. The employees are friendly and try to learn who their customers are. This is a popular place for people to stop through, and they don’t have a drive through, so there are often long lines. However, the long lines move quickly.

Excellent place for coffee and a relaxing environment. I’ve been coming here for 6 years and not once have I had a bad experience. The best baristas are Ashley and Alex, both get my drink perfect every time and know what I want when I walk in the door. Always so friendly and I leave feeling happy. Avoid coming here around 2:30 — 3:30 on weekdays though unless you want a ton of loud middle school kids to deal with. It seems to be the parent pick up spot in town.

LOVE this one! Is in my home town, and it was actually the first Starbucks I ever had, years ago. But I love their drinks, and I used to come here almost every day with my younger cousin and some friends. Or just by myself. I only lived like a block away. Brought my mom here a lot too. My favorite thing was to come here on a cold fall or winter day, especially between October and December(the holidays), and get me a pumpkin spice latte with a pumpkin spice muffin, and just read a good book at one of the tables. Or study. Then go do a little shopping at some of the stores in that shopping center. It was also right across from where my(Ex) husband worked. It was where I agreed to meet up with him so we could leave for our very first date. Sometimes he would stop by to see if I was there, and sit with me on his break. Ahhh, brings back memories, both bitter and sweet…

Part of the point of going to Starbucks is that you know what to expect. Maybe some locations or certain employees make your favorite drink a little better than others, but generally you patronize a Starbucks for its consistency. I have encountered a Starbucks with the nicest morning baristas! It’s one thing to take and execute someone’s order correctly and quickly. It is quite another thing entirely to do so in the morning with a long line and an upbeat attitude. By upbeat, I do not mean saturated in maple sugar, gag me with a spoon, disgustingly sweet, over the top, too much sunshine in the freaking monring upbeat. I mean they were just the right amount of nice and let’s get these people their coffee just the way they want it, so they can start their day. Friendly Starbucks location? Score!
