Came here to get hair and makeup done for a wedding. The girls are all really nice there and down to earth. They did a great job! Definitely will be back here!

Got my extensions done here. First they put my tracks to close to the root which then ripped my hair out at the root. I have two bald patches as a result. When I came in with one whole pack of hot heads an one mini I was told that would be enough. I had no problem going and buying another pack if an additional pack was needed but I was told in person that one full and one mini would be fine. Nope! I have holes behind my ears where you can see my real hair. I went out and bought another pack of hair and have someone who knows what they are doing putting them in. If you want hot head extensions done go to Salon Prive and see Stefanie Castor!!! Don’t go to dazzle for hot head extensions! You’ll end up with bald spots and having to pay more money for it in the end.

Dazzles staff is very friendly and courteous, and the new location is very clean and nicely decorated(I haven’t been to the old one, so I can’t compare), but despite this I will not be returning. I had purchased a Groupon for Dazzles(2 spa mani-pedis), and the first mani/pedi I received about 6 weeks ago was from a girl who self-admittedly had little experience doing nails– and boy, did it show. She did a mediocre job at best, and while she was very sweet and easy to talk to, that didn’t make up for her sub-par work. I tipped her well anyway, for trying. The second time I went to redeem my 2nd Groupon mani-pedi, I was lucky enough for the junior staff member to have called out sick, and so a senior team member stepped in. She was also very friendly and easy to talk to, and was also clearly much more skilled. She took her time making sure I was very comfortable, doing lengthy massages on my feet and hands, was very detail-oriented in polish application, etc. However, despite being worlds better than my last experience, a problem remained: there are no nail dryers in this establishment. She had me wave my fingers in front of a fan for a bit, and when that wasn’t working, used her hair dryer. I understand Dazzles is a hair salon first and spa second, but this is still not good enough. My nails were still not fully dried by the time I left, but she said that within one hour, they would be completely dried. I was very careful with them when I left at 8:30pm, and didn’t go to sleep until 11pm– and yet when I woke up, my nails were etched with lines and imprints of my sheets. It’s a shame to have spent the time and money for beautifully manicured nails, only to have the finished product quite noticeably tainted. This would have been completely avoided had Dazzles nail dryers! They have UV rays which help harden polish, and when using a nail dryer for 3 rounds, I have never had an issue with them not being fully dry and hardened to a perfect glossy lacquer. Ultimately, I feel let down and annoyed. I can get a quick manicure at a salon around the corner for $ 10 that will look and last a lot better than this. My latest technician admitted Groupons don’t bring in money– they are meant to be an investment to bring in new clients, but with the sub-par way Dazzles approaches nails, how can they win new clients? My latest technician at Dazzles really did go out of her way for me, and she is the reason I gave 3 stars instead of 2. Because in my mind it just isn’t acceptable to advertise services that you don’t have the staff or apparatus to handle properly. I can’t advise on Dazzles’ hair services– I’m sure they are just fine. But for nails, I have to advise you go elsewhere.
