Going to give this Barnes and Noble a 5 rating. It’s a larger bookstore located conveniently in Neshaminy Mall. They have a decent selection of adult and children books. Large magazine selection and a better than average Starbucks eatery with cheesecake factory imports that are excellent. The best part I feel about Barnes is they don’t hassle you if you want to sit down and read one of their books and magazines. Sometimes I wonder how they make money? Can get crowded and noisy with little kids and students but then again this ain’t a library so expected. In this age of internet these bookstores are a sadly dying breed so not sure if Barnes will be here forever so enjoy it while you can. I for one will surely miss it!

I just upgraded my nook at this B&N, and it could not have been an easier or more pleasant experience. I have to add here that I am 100% technically challenged. I had such a bad time trying up upgrade my iPhone recently at another store, I was treated like a complete moron and the staff acted like they were put out by me asking for their help. Because of that I was hesitant to make this change. I could not have been more wrong. Bonnie was the service rep who helped me, and she was not only helpful, but friendly and patient as well. She was also managing the customer service desk while assisting me and handled it all very professionally. I do not have the occasion to come in as much as I did in the past since I do most if not all of my reading on my nook, but any time I have I can say I have always had great service. This store gets the importance of good customer service. Would like to add that if you enjoy sending greeting cards they always have a unique selection of cards for any occasion. I usually end up buying a few for my stockpile.

Always enjoy a good place to sit and read. This BN as friendly staff and apparently currently it is filming? Not sure what the sign at the door is about but look your best when you come in here :) There are nice seating sections in Starbucks and the magazine best seller sections are neatly maintained an organized. You can park right out side with connections into neshaminy mall, very convenient if you want to read, shop and then some!

I would say it’s a fine store — it is large and has been remodeled. I was slightly disappointed with the travel book section and also the cooking/baking section

This is my favorite place to kill time before work. I can grab a coffee, muffin and a good book and just escape! The café inside is quite roomy and there are 4 high back comfy single person couches that are almost always occupied but sometimes I get lucky :) The weekdays are the least busy for obvious reasons. Also, for someone who doesn’t have central air its a great place to cool off. My boyfriend just got a 3D tv with all the extras and this is the only place I can find that actually has a 3D section of blu ray dvds. The only down side is that theres no bathroom in the café or bookstore so you have to venture out into the mall to go– I usually hold it for as long as I can so I dont lose my seat haha.

I go to Barnes & Noble because they have What Digital Camera magazine. Well, most of them have it, but this one didn’t. In order to look around the magazines, I had to get past several bins containing magazines that were out just waiting for someone to be injured. That might be okay if someone was there, putting out magazines but they were on their own. I’m guessing that the rest of their operation is just as organized. That would be unfortunate because brick and mortar stores can’t afford to make mistakes like what happened with B. Dalton Booksellers and Borders.

Usually use BN for my entry into the mall but I always stop at the Starbucks there and sometimes pick up a book or two. The fiction section is a little strange lately. There are all of these new, weird categories! Teen Supernatural Romance Fiction… what?

For a bookstore in a mall, it’s OK. The problem I had was with their Starbucks. I got a latte which as you know, is half full of steaming hot milk. Since I was holding some items besides my purse, when I received my coffee I asked for a cardboard sleeve-which was right next to her. She ignorantly pointed to the sleeves over at the counter where the sugar, stirrers, etc. were. Are you kidding? When I go to the mall and stop in B&N for coffee I never leave without buying a book or magazine. Never again. I can skip B&N and go across the street to the drive through, where they know people who are spending almost $ 4.00 for coffee prefer not to deal with a cup of scalding liquid.

You can still smell the baby powder, that is how new our latest addition to the Neshaminy Mall is. They named it Barnes & Nobel. This 2 story building is filled with so much more than your typical bookstores. As with all Barnes & Nobel this store carries a multitude of books, from Classics to Best Sellers to Cookbooks. Information for travel, games, calendars, gourmet foods for gifts, corkscrews, lighting for your home or office, music and video’s. Friendly staff and very eager to help. Star Buck’s is their Café. Right now, I took advantage of the after holiday sales with thousands of books and items at 50% off. I was able to pick up a 2009 Calendar for 50% as well.
