This place knows what they are doing ! They can handle large crowds with out a flinch. The quality of the food is consistent each time. I honestly don’t know anyone who doesn’t love Red House! If you haven’t been here, it’s a must try!

LOVE this place! Bagels here are the best I’ve had! Once you have one from here, you’ll never go anywhere else again for a bagel. I particularly enjoy the French toast bagel with bacon, egg and cheese!

I hate that I have to do this. But Redhouse has failed me more than twice now. Their bagels are fantastic! And their customer service is good too. The 2 stars is because 2 times in the past 2 weeks my company has ordered and and my food has been gross or forgotten. Today it was both. I ordered the 1 egg platter with bacon and potatoes. There were 4 other items on the order all sandwiches. But mine was forgotten. I waited for about 20 minutes for the driver to return. I grabbed my food and hurried to my desk to devour my food. But the egg tasted like dish soap! There was water(not condensation) under the egg! The potatoes tasted like metal also! This is not the first time this has happened. 2 weeks ago the same thing! I try to be positive about places who come so highly recommended. I gave them chances. Lots of chances. But when I pay for a whole meal and the only thing I could eat was the bacon it makes me think twice. If you are going to eat there just get bagels. Seems to be the only thing their good at.

Long wait but worth it. I suggest calling ahead so you avoid the longer wait. Even when I waited a little longer then usual they offered a free(most amazing) double chocolate brownie. Ontop of that they make great breakfast sandwiches and a large bagel selection.

So I’ve been eating at redhouse bagels for years. Today may have been the last straw for me. First off it was packed! As it is every weekend. It takes so long to get your food. Here’s a suggestion to the owner, open up the second register on the weekends and invest in another toaster! It’s absolutely ridiculous that I have to wait 10 – 20 minutes for a toasted bagel. You have a loyal following and a great business, you’re a bagel place and you should have more then 1 toaster. As for the register, open up another, you have plenty of girls standing around. Like I said the place is super busy. It’s all young girls that try to rush your order and rush the service. I ordered 2 bagels today, a blueberry and a poppy seed, both toasted with cream cheese. Unfortunately halfway down i95, my bagel hadn’t been toasted, or have any cream cheese. I’m sorry but it’s absolutely ridiculous that I waited over 10 minutes for 2 bagels and it was wrong. The bagel wasn’t toasted, cream cheese or even cut. Why in the world would I want that? Anyway it went in the trash. I’m officially done with this place. I wish there was another bagel place around. Hopefully the owners read these reviews and rectify these issues. If I want a bagel I will go elsewhere.

I’ve been craving a New York bagel, perfectly schmeared with cream cheese. Unfortunately, I live in Bristol, PA. so I went with the next available option(or so I thought). It was a little busy for a Sunday morning I suppose, but we waited in like for about 5 minutes to get up to the cashier who was wearing reindeer antlers(it’s almost Christmas) but didn’t know how to smile. Asked for the list of cream cheese spreads available with the response«there’s a lot». Aside from that, we paid and waited for a to go order consisting of 2 bagels, not even breakfast meat sandwiches FOR20MINUTES. I’m not a patient person but my husband is, I was starving so I forced him to go ask where our order was because I ordered the last egg bagel and watched them make it for someone else. when inquiring about the order it took a meeting of the minds(4 – 5 high school aged girls and 2 others) to realize they had forgotten about it but the cashier remembered it. We were offered something from the display case as compensation but kindly declined, just wanted to go home to eat our bagels. once they came to realization that the egg bagel was gone, they asked what else I might want… it was ridiculous and I understand it happens sometimes but when we finally got them and started eating, they were definitely NOT worth waiting for. We were asked if we planned on returning in the near future and they would take 10% off our order, the cost is not an issue and 10% would not be enough to get me to come back again unfortunately. I’d rather hit up a Dunkin Donuts next time for the same price and less aggravation and starvation. Sorry RedHouse, we won’t be back.

Great place to avoid pre-made breakfast garbage without breaking the bank. The bagels are fantastic, and the service has been good both times I have been here. Coffee is so-so, but the bagels make up for it, or there is wawa across the street.

Wasn’t my first time here, but I wasn’t Unilocaling prior to today! Made a quick stop before jumping on 95 to go to the shore. I ordered egg whites, cheese, and turkey bacon on rye toast. It hit the spot. The bagels are good, but I used to be a bagel baker, so I’m over them. If you like bagels, you’ll dig this place. It is poppin in here every time I go, but it’s good. I’ve never had issues with the service or my order. I’ll be back eventually. Can’t say much about the coffee since I get it at Wawa or Dunkin instead.

Sooo slow on weekends. They have more of the girls talking to customers /friends than they do working. Breakfast sandwich’s are okay, nothing to brag about. As for bagels, again average but they are the only game in town. If your desperate for a bagel this is the place to go.

I love this place but what i saw this morning made me gag. The cook sweeping the floor with disposable gloves on behind the grill and cooking at the same time.

Red house is great for a fresh breakfast sandwich. I visited this morning and wasn’t disappointed in my food. The girl who took my order did mess up, however. She asked me two times who’s name to put our order under and we told her twice that it was for eating in. We had two guests with us who ordered separate and they ate and just about finished before we barely heard our«for here» order called for pickup.(It was packed for to go). My husband didn’t want his bagel toasted but it was. I Do still recommend this place as the food is always good and fresh and the prices are reasonable.

Went for the first time this weekend. And Honestly it is probably 5 Star worthy. The breakfast sandwiches are made to order on fresh bagels or croissants. The lady and I both went with croissant sandwiches, pork roll/egg/cheese for me and bacon/egg/cheese for the lady and we were both completely impressed, only reason I don’t give it 5 is because maybe it was skimpy on the meat? But whatevs. 2 sandwiches 2 decent sized fresh coffees and an Iced Tea for $ 13? WEWILLBEBACK!

I’m a huge fan of this place. My go two place some mornings for breakfast. My usual is, sausage, egg and cheese on an everything bagel, home fries and a medium coffee!!! Everything is always fresh and hot. The coffee is fresh. Most early mornings it’s packed but lines move fast and food comes out fast. Like how they cut the sandwiches in half. Staff is freindly, And it’s small on the inside. So many different choice of bagels to choose from. This place would rock if one was down the city. Sometimes the parking is tuff on mornings. I recommend this place to anyone looking for fast place for breakfast!

Great Bagels. The place is small but they have about 15 different kinds of bagels. My favorites are the everything, the jalapeño cheddar, and the french toast. I pick up a dozen on the weekends for the family for around $ 9. You can order breakfast sandwiches and all here and have your eggs over easy on the bagel if you want with choices like scrapple, sausage, bacon and pork roll.

Service has been better recently, which I’m glad about. The counter girls were either trained differently or they hired new ones, they are just more competent. Food is good as always.

This is a decent bagel spot for B-town. If it were in Center City I would probably only give it 3 stars, but I am giving an extra star due to its geographical competition. There was a pretty long line when we rolled into Redhouse Bagels around noon on Sunday afternoon. The small shop has a large display case with each bagel flavor, they have all the basics, plus a few you don’t see very often(Cheddar Jalepeno, Tomato Basil, and I thought I saw some sort of strawberry swirl.) I had lox and cream cheese on a whole grain bagel. I was a little disappointed they didn’t add any onion, tomato or greens but I guess I should have asked. Everything was reasonably priced and the girls behind the counter walked the food out to our table. They have a lot of tables for their size, but there wasn’t an empty seat in the house. If you find yourself in Bensalem or NE Philly, I suggest going to Redhouse Bagels over any chain restaurant near by. They also have lunch sandwiches and a catering menu. I did not explore either but based on their breakfast performance, I would give lunch a try if I was in the area.

The foods ok but they screwed my order up twice now. They treat BROWNBAGS like gold. They just hand you your sandwich no bag for carry out. You have to ask for a bag every time.
