Are you in need of a donut, taco, or a calling card? If so, this is your 1-​stop shop!
This is a place which has a butcher, bakery, and little market in it. I went here to get some grub, so I shouted my request to the guy in the kitchen. As I waited for my tacos, I checked out the store. The meat market had lots of interesting and foreign cuts behind the counter. One day, I’ll come here and pick up a lengua (tongue) and try to cook one — I’m a sucker for tongue.
When I was here, there was actually a line. Not sure what every one else was here for, but this place was hoppin’. I wish I spoke Spanish, because I did feel like quite the gringo in here… but ya know. I like that. I like soaking culture up like this (we are so lacking here in eastern WA).
At any rate, I had some tacos. They were tasty as I expected, and I was happy.
Next time I’ll be sure to grab a donut and a calling card.
