Rosie’s Weenie Wagon

Rosie is such a sweet lady… Great Service and even better smile. I dont know what i enjoyed more, speaking to her or eating those yummy hot dogs :)

First of all, let me say that part of the rating is because of Rosie’s active support of local not-​for-​profit groups. My entire experience with her wagon is at local events, sponsoring causes that I also support. But I also ate at her truck at those events, so it does count as a customer experience.
The hot dogs get a solid 3 stars. The prices, especially for events, are reasonable for what you get; one of her $ 2.50 hot dogs, although normal hot dog wagon sized, had enough toppings to make a good lunch. Do make sure that you have a place to sit down, or else you may end up wearing it rather than eating it, though (a pet peeve of mine). The toppings are good, but not exceptional. That gets her a 3 star rating. Her support of the local events that I have attended gets the extra star. If you eat there at her regular spot, expect decent food at a fair price. As she charges her regular prices at events (where vendors often jack up their prices), the quality per dollar goes up correspondingly.

We had Rosie’s hot dogs at the closter farmers market and they were so good! I had Rosie’s evil devil dawg and it was spicy and flavorful. Not only are the dogs delicious but Rosie herself is a real sweet heart. We look forward to seeing every Sunday at the Market in Closter.

bought 4 dogs, the evil, kimchi, and two roes. First of all the dogs are pretty expensive for a small hotdog costing 2.5−3 a piece of a road truck. However, since its close to my home i decided to give it a try. Big mistake. After eating the first one, i had an upset stomach. I gave the kimchi tacos to my wife and my cousin who are both Korean. They said it was disgusting and they couldn’t even finish one between the two of them. I am never stopping by here again. I don’t know who the other reviewers are, but obviously they are her friends or her family from way out of state. They are not even from this area.

All I can say is YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY!!! A great place to eat and great place to chit chat with Rosie herself!!! Best weenies EvER!

I have never been a fan of food trucks so I was really skeptical when I stopped by Rosie’s. First, I loved the way it looks so colorful and clean; and then, I tried the Special, the Sloppy Rose. Sooo good! I’m hooked, folks! Look for the Winnie Wagon and try it: you’ll thank me…
