Worth stopping for a quick bite. Lots of Naked smoothie options, bagels are tasty (if not STELLAR), and breakfast sandwich was hearty. They don’t skimp on the fillings. Employee was fast and professional. Two tiny tables out front, or a handful inside, but I got the impression that most people take out.

Third set of owners I’ve seen and these guys run a great shop. Fast service, good food, big selection. Great Taylor sandwiches made fresh to order, constantly making fresh bagels during the morning rush, scallions cut fresh in the scallion cream cheese… My family’s go to stop for breakfast.

Bagels are fresh, when they have them. They run out sometimes. Not sure if they don’t make enough, or the demand is so high.
They have a special right now, free medium coffee with a breakfast sandwich. The sign is off to the side and should be visible to all who enter, but was never offered the coffee with my sandwich. I would not have taken it anyway, but I feel it should have been offered, in case I didn’t see the sign.
Prices a little high, but close to house.
The store is clean, staff are friendly, food is good, what else do you need?

I love this Sam I am place! The bagels are always great and fresh. I love their whole wheat everything bagels. And the people there are really nice! They have a great deal going on now free medium coffee with a breakfast sandwhich. They are always clean which I LOVE, you can tell alot about a place by how clean they keep it. And I really love that they have a grill in the back so you know they are legit. Great place.

Stopped in for a bagel — they were out of Egg at the moment which was a little sad, but I got an everything instead. It was a really solid bagel. Not too much cream cheese on it either — just right. I’m a bit of a bagel snob, and I would definitely go back.

The bagels are okay, nothing special. But the prices are ridiculous. They charge $ 4.50 for egg and cheese on a bagel! I’ve never in my life seen such a high price for a simple breakfast sandwich. Definitely will not be going back to this place again, especially when there are similar places nearby.

Stopped by on a Sunday morning for a quick breakfast. Bagel selection was a little small, many of the varieties weren’t available. But after ordering a toasted plain bagel with scallion cream cheese and tomato and a bacon, egg and cheese on a poppy seed bagel, my boyfriend and I were happy with breakfast.

I’ve known this guy for years, ever since he took over the joint. Really picked up the place. Everything is super fresh and has great coffee flavors. So much better than the other places around that slap the ingredients on the bagel and charge you $ 5 for some obstacle course of a breakfast. you’ll enjoy this place anytime of day. Simple and concise.

Huge bagel selection, prepared with whatever you could possibly want on it. A great stop for breakfast. Can get a little crowded, but its generally a short wait. Perfect if you’re waiting for your train to come in.

Fresh, soft and chewy. The perfect bagel. Make sure you try chocolate chip bagel with butter. Sooooooooooo good!

Bagels are hot, doughy (which I actually like) but tend to be on the smaller end. Prices are actually a lot higher than the bagel shop down the st. Olive cream cheese was average at best. Would return since they have a grill which is rare at a bagel shop in the area.

Williamsburg, VA
Having moved away from NJ 26 years ago and having lived in many places in the US and always in search of a great bagel Sam I Am has the best. They have about 20 different selections of bagels. By far they have the best French Toast bagel around. When I’m back in NJ I always make it a point to get my daily requirement of bagels and for the return trip home at least a dozen or two come along for the ride. This is the best of the best when it comes to bagels!
