I am very interested in Buddhist philosophy and teachings. Entering the bookstore, I felt a very peaceful vibe. It is very clean and quiet. Soothing music plays in the background as you walk around browsing Buddhist literature and associated items. The lady at the front is very nice. She greeted me when I entered and respectfully leaves me be as I browse their selection. They have such a nice assortment of books about various types of Buddhism as well as origami books. They also have cute cards and gifts. I have not bought anything but it is a nice place to look around if you’re ever curious about Buddhism.

Stocked with all of the Buddhist books you can imagine, plus more, the BCA Bookstore is the place to go for all of your Jodo Shinshu needs. They have a great variety of onenju, videos, tabi socks, obon gear, and even jewelry with the Buddhist theme.
Being connected to the beautiful and clean Jodo Shinshu Center, this is a nice place to study if you would like to be someplace quiet.
Little-​known fact: They have some packaged Japanese food and drink in the bookstore, and tables to sit down at, almost like a café!

Located in the new Jodo Shinshu Center, the BCA bookstore is a very small shop with popular texts catering to education in Buddhism. There are also obutsudan equipment, ojuzu, and other religious items sold here as well. Not a large selection but you’re more likely to find what you’re looking for here than a normal bookstore.
