I am a clinical psychology graduate student and Dr. Epstein was my
professor for a yearlong course in assessment. She is a knowledgeable
practitioner and a skilled teacher. In an academic setting she is
incredibly kind, approachable, and disarming. She taught my classmates
and I how to conduct thorough interviews and interpret
psychodiagnostic assessment measures to construct an integrative and
holistic view of each client’s presenting concerns. Dr. Epstein placed
much emphasis on the therapeutic value of assessment feedback and
taught sensitive and creative approaches to relating assessment
findings to clients.

Time spent with Jamie will leave you feeling better, and more clear headed, every time. She’s an incredible listener, and will synthesize what I’m saying and reflect back to me with compassion, insight and wisdom so that I can see more clearly what actually IS, and what might just be my own thoughts. Jamie’s naturally warm and friendly character make her easy to talk to, so you’ll want to keep coming back… as often as you can. Seriously. If you need a good therapist, give her a call. She’s got great office hours in two locations too, which is highly convenient.
