I was looking for an outfit for an important work event and found it here. This was when there was a retail space on College Ave.(This review is a bit belated. My understanding is that Keneuoe no longer has a storefront and is taking orders online or by appointment.) Her designs are what I’d call Stylish Executive. Not that I’m an executive, but if I were, I’d be stocking my wardrobe with Keneuoe pieces. The clothes are polished, conveying confidence in an elegant and feminine way. Lots of tailored jackets, skirts that drape wonderfully, and dresses with an architectural bent. I ended up with a cap-sleeve dress that had interesting panels on the sides. Dresses run about $ 200 to $ 500, jackets $ 300 to $ 400. I think it’s well-priced considering the quality of the fabrics, and the fact that the clothes are designed and made locally. You could easily spend that much at a department store. Instead, you should spend it here on something made to order. Lastly, Keneuoe herself is a sweetheart. I found her to be helpful, humble, and a lovely person to be around.

Keneuoe has fashion that is flattering on all sizes! With each item I tried on, my smile grew more. Tyese was also wonderful and incredibly helpful to get fashion advice from.

I noticed a striking gown in the front window of the store as I was driving by, and called the store to find out more. The woman who answered, Tyce, was super friendly and helpful, and I ultimately made a private appointment with them for the following day. When I arrived, both the owner/designer and Tyce were there. The owner was doing a photo shoot of the new designs for the upcoming spring line, and Tyce was there to help me pick out dresses to try on for an upcoming event. Both of them were very helpful, honest and genuine in my search. The prices were very reasonable– especially considering that the majority of the clothing in the store is actually made to order with whatever fabrics you decide you want them in, and the quality of the fabric is exceptional. And, the clothes are all actually sewn locally. Pretty amazing. I didn’t end up making a purchase on this round, but I will definitely come here again and support this amazing designer and her business in the future.

Recently purchased my first items there — and even though I had to return them due to a fabric issue, they were most helpful to assist me with a new fabric selection and re-did everything swifter than they first indicated. I like their style very much and am very pleased to have such a fine store near by. Lucky! Customer service was lovely. I certainly will visit again and am ready to select another item(will have to save up for it though … but I am sure that those clothes will last for decades, thus: it’s a great investment!)

Walking by this fancy looking clothing shop on College, I happened to walk in only to discover the complete collection of women’s and men’s business and evening wear is made within a couple of miles of the shop, on Shattuck. I felt like I’d been transported to New York or another era, not only because the fabric and designs had a kind of elegance you just don’t see much in the Bay Area but because it felt like a haute couture studio — and everyone working there was totally friendly. They have sizes up to 16 as well, and won’t go down to 0. How refreshing is that. The prices reflect the Bay Area designer work, although the sale prices on pants for $ 199 are truly worth it compared to «generic» designer clothing. The dress designs repeatedly blew me away with fun folds, pleats, and plunges. When I reach a big goal and am ready for my launch party I’m definitely going to think about having a dress made here. (If only they’d change the name so people would talk about it.) Tip: If you need the gumption to buy some clothing start by getting wine and samples next door then when you’ve got a little buzz go try on clothes and spruce up the wardrobe. PS I’m normally a bargain shopper so this rave coming from me is extra meaningful :)
